Objective:The comparative study of the effectiveness and safety of the union treatment by 125I seed implantation and GS Chemotherapy as well as the only Chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer patients. Methods:Review and analyze the patients with advanced pancreatic cancer treated in our hospital from June 2015 to December 2018.Patients who underwent 125I seed implantation and GS chemotherapy were included in the combined treatment group, and patients who underwent GS chemotherapy alone were included in the simple chemotherapy group.Record the basic information and clinical data of each patient before and after treatment for 3months:including general information:gender, age, main symptoms, tumor location, tumor size, weight, pain score(NRS score),general condition score(KPS score),tumor stage;laboratory examination:blood routine, liver function, renal function and CA-199;imaging examination:retroperitoneal strong CT and so on,and the adverse reactions after operation and chemotherapy.By comparing the tumor relief rate and pain relief rate of the two groups, the curative effect was evaluated, and the safety was evaluated by comparing the adverse reactions of the two groups.Results:1 Combined treatment group:The objective tumor relief rate was58.33%at 3 months after operation, and the pain relief rate was 62.5%at 3months after operation. The incidence of gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and vomiting was 41.67%,and the incidence of bone marrow suppression was 41.67%.One patient had peritoneal dropsy after operation.2 In the simple chemotherapy group, the objective tumor remission rate was 24%at 3 months after chemotherapy and 32%at 3 months after chemotherapy.Among the common adverse reactions, the incidence of gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and vomiting was 32%,and the incidence of bone marrow suppression in different degrees was 36%.Among them,2 patients developed skin rash during chemotherapy.3 The curative effect of the two groups was compared:Statistical analysis showed that the objective remission rate and pain relief rate of the combined treatment group were better than those of the simple chemotherapy group;there was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups. Conclusion:The short-term efficacy and pain relief of 125I seed implantation combined with GS chemotherapy in advanced pancreatic cancer are better than that of GS chemotherapy alone.125I seed implantation has the advantages of high local control rate and obvious relief of clinical symptoms. It can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, and can be a better choice for palliative treatment of patients with advanced pancreatic cancer.
