Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in females.As reported,there are approximately 1.7 million new cases of breast cancer in 2012 leading to about 0.52 million deaths worldwide.In recent decades,great changes have taken place in human living environment,lifestyle as well as diet habit with the rapid development of economy in China.As a result,the incidence of breast cancer is rising year by year,especially in developed cities and regions.According to Chinese Cancer Registry Annual Report,although the incidence and mortality of breast cancer in urban women is persistently higher than that in rural during 2005 to 2013,this differential is diminishing.It shows that the incidence of breast cancer among rural women increased from 0.133‰ in 2005 to 0.239‰ in 2013,and mortality increased from 0.052‰ in 2005 to 0.059‰ in 2013.In 2013 alone,there were nearly 0.28 million new cases of breast cancer which brought about 0.065 million deaths.Previous epidemiological data shows that breast cancer has become an unnegligible threaten to the physical and mental health of females globally.Early diagnosis and timely treatment of breast cancer are critical to improve the prognosis.Recently,the various biological behaviors of breast cancer have been found closely related to the distribution of microvessels.The fast growing and spreading of breast cancer mainly depend on the formation of abundant microvessels,which ensuring sufficient nutrition.Therefore,research on microvessels of breast cancer will be of great importance.Objective:To compare the difference between superb microvascular imaging(SMI)and color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI)in detecting the microvessels of breast tumors,and to analyze the application value of SMI in the diagnosis of the nature of breast tumors and its influencing factors.Methods:From October 2017 to June 2018,105 patients with breast tumors who accepted surgical treatment or biopsy in our hospital were collected and underwent SMI and CDFI detection.Alder grade and vascular morphology were observed.The maximum diameter of 2.0 cm and the depth of 1.0 cm from the skin were employed for grouping to analyze the effects of diagnosis under different conditions.The diagnostic efficacy of the two methods were compared.Results: A total of 105 patients were enrolled in the current study.No significant difference was identified in the Alder grade and vascular morphology between SMI and CDFI when evaluating benign tumors(P=0.349,P=0.544 separately).However,there were remarkable differences in the Alder grade and vascular morphology between the two kinds of methods when detecting malignant tumors(P=0.001,P=0.027).The diagnostic sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of SMI and CDFI were 81.82%,86.40%,76.67% and 65.52%,72.15%,72.38% respectively.SMI was found to be superior to CDFI.ROC curve showed that the AUC of SMI and CDFI was 0.806 and 0.677,respectively.Z test showed that the diagnostic efficacy of the two methods had significant difference(Z = 2.768,P = 0.005).When the maximum diameter was no more than 2.0 cm,no difference existed in the Alder grade and vascular morphology between SMI and CDFI in benign tumors(P = 0.290,P = 0.645).However,there were obvious differences in the Alder grade and vascular morphology in malignant tumors(P= 0.008,P = 0.018).When the maximum diameter was more than 2.0 cm,no difference was observed in the Alder grade and vascular morphology between SMI and CDFI in benign tumors(P = 0.741,p=0.680).There was no difference in Alder grade in malignant tumors(P= 0.444),but there were significant differences in vascular morphology(P = 0.006).The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of the two methods decreased along with the increase of skin depth.Conclusion:SMI is more effective than CDFI in detecting low-velocity microvessels in breast tumors,and is of more diagnostic values in malignant tumors.
