Objective Compare the diagnostic efficiency of SMI with CDFI and PDI in different size renal tumors..Methods Retrospective analysis were performent in a total of 199 cases of renal tumors of 195 patients screened with SMI?CDFI and PDI in our hospital from December 2016 to June 2017.All tumors were divided into 2 groups according to the size of the tumors,including 104 tumors that 0~~4cm,and 95 tumors that >4cm.SMI,CDFI and PDI diagnostic efficiency were compared by showing Alder grade,blood flow vascular morphology and the ring-like blood flow of peripheral.Results 1.Pathological results showed that of 199 tumors,161 were malignant tumors,including 137 clear cell carcinomas,17 chromophobe cell carcinomas and 7 papillary cell carcinomas;38 were benign tumors,including 29 angiomyolipomas,5 eosinophilic adenomas and 4 epithelioid leiomyolipomas.2.In group a,there were no significant differences in location,boundary,echo,homogeneity and small cystic area between malignant tumors and benign tumors(P > 0.05).In group b,there were significant differences in echo and small cystic area(P < 0.05).3.Among 199 renal tumors,the detection rate of blood vessel has significant difference in SMI compared with CDFI and PDI(P<0.05).4.There were no significant difference in Alder grade,vascular morphology and the ring-like blood flow of peripheral between CDFI?PDI and SMI of benign tumors(all P >0.05).5.There were significant differences in Alder grade,vascular morphology of malignant tumors in Group a(all P<0.05).Malignant tumors of Group b have no significant difference in Adler grade compared with SMI?CDFI and PDI(all P>0.05);there was significant difference in vascular morphology from CDFI(P<0.05),but no in PDI(P>0.05).6.All groups have significant differences in SMI compared with CDFI and PDI in ring-like blood flow of peripheral(P<0.05);The ring-like blood flow of peripheral in group a with SMI has statistically difference between group b(P<0.05).7.When the maximum diameter was no more than 4.0cm,the area under the curve of ROC by CDFI?PDI and SMI were 0.694?0.700?0.771,thus the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).When the maximum diameter was more than 4.0cm,the area under the curve of ROC by CDFI?PDI and SMI were 0.802?0.797?0.805,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions 1.SMI can show the blood flow characteristics more clearly in the tumors,and improve detection rate of blood vessel for both benign tumors and malignant tumors.2.When the maximum diameter is no more than 4 cm,SMI is better than CDFI and PDI in blood flow visualization,the diagnostic efficiency is better combined with gray-scale ultrasound.3.The application of SMI technology can significantly improve the ring-like blood flow of peripheral of malignant tumors.
