Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of low molecular weight heparin(low molecular weight heparin,LMWH)in the treatment of active ulcerative colitis. Methods:EMBASE,PubMed,Cochrane Library,CNKI,CBM,VIP,WANFANG DATA and other databases were used to retrieve the relevant documents from the database to April2018.The strict inclusion and exclusion criteria were formulated and the literature was screened. The data were extracted and the statistical processing was carried out by Revman 5.3 software. Results:The study of 11 randomized controlled trials(randomized Contrdled trials,RCTs)accorded with the inclusion criteria and total active UC in 842 cases, including 419 in the experimental group and 423 in the control group. The results of meta analysis showed that the total effective rate of the test group was higher than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant [OR = 2.5,95% CI(1.74,3.61)and P<0.01],and the total remission rate was higher than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant [OR = 1.64,95% CI(1.32,2.04),P < 0.01],and there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reaction between the control group and the control group.OR = 0.97,95% CI(0.63,1.51),P =0.91].Conclusion:LMWH is effective and safe in the treatment of active UC without serious adverse reactions.
