Objective:To investigate the quality of life of hospitalized patients with stable schizophrenia, and analyze the related factors affecting the quality of life of first-episode and relapse patients,so as to provide theoretical basis for improving the quality of life of schizophrenic patients. Methods:Convenience sampling method was used to choose 50 first-episode and 50 recrudesce schizophrenes registered in 5 provincial hospital in Shanxi Province from November 2017 to January 2018.The criteria for admission were in accordance with the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia(including first-episode and relapse)in the 10 th edition of the International Classification of Statistics of Diseases(ICD-10),and the diagnosis was made by a professional psychiatrist.General Situation Questionnaire,WHOQOLBREF,Family Care Index,Social Support Scale,Family Burden Scale of Disease and Medication Adherence Rating Scale were employed for conducting a questionnaire survey.SPSS19.0 statistical software was used to process data,t-test was used to compare the difference of quality of life between schizophrenic patients and Chinese norm, univariate analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression method were used to analyze the influencing factors of quality of life in schizophrenic patients.Result:1.T-test showed that the scores of quality of life in the first-episode group and the relapse group were significantly lower than those in the Chinese norm(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the first-episode group and the relapse group(P >0.05).2.Univariate analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the quality of life among the first-episode schizophrenics in all areas(P > 0.05).The quality of life of relapsed schizophrenic patients below junior middle school level scored low in the field of physiology(P < 0.05);in the psychological field, the scores of women and those below junior middle school education were lower(P < 0.05);in the field of social relations, the scores of women were lower(P < 0.05);in the field of environment, the scores of females and those below junior middle school are lower(P < 0.05).3.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the quality of life in the first-episode group was positively correlated with family caring index in psychological field;positively correlated with family caring index in social relationship field;positively correlated with social support and family caring index and negatively correlated with family burden of disease,in environmental field. The social support of relapsed patients was positively correlated with psychological, physiological and environmental fields;family burden of disease was negatively correlated with all fields;family care index was positively correlated with all fields;and medication compliance was positively correlated with physiological and psychological fields.4.Through multiple stepwise regression analysis,it was concluded that gender, family care index and social support were the main factors influencing the quality of life of first-episode schizophrenics(P < 0.05);gender,education level, social support, family care index and medication compliance were the main factors influencing the quality of life of relapsed schizophrenics(P < 0.05).Conclusion:The quality of life of patients with schizophrenia is lower than that of the Chinese norm, but there is no significant difference in the quality of life between first-episode and relapse schizophrenics. Many factors can affect the quality of life of first-episode and relapse schizophrenia patients, and gender, family care index and social support are the common factors.Women had better quality of life in first-episode patients, while men had better quality of life in relapsed patients.Improving the social support of patients will improve their quality of life, which has certain clinical significance.
