Objective: To observe the clinical effect of nasal glucocorticoid combined with sphenoid palatal ganglion acupuncture in the treatment of vasomotor rhinitis. Methods:Selected in sichuan province,Chinese medicine hospital otolaryngology department outpatient service of lung qi deficiency cold type of 38 patients with allergic rhinitis.Thirty-eight patients with vasomotor rhinitis were randomly divided into acupuncture combined group and nasal hormone group, with 19 patients in each group. The acupuncture and drug combination group was treated with momethasone furoate and sphenoid palatal ganglion acupuncture, while the nasal hormone group was only given momethasone furoate(nasonex)nasal spray for 4 weeks, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared after treatment.Result:There was no significant difference in overall efficacy between the two groups, and acupuncture of spheno palatine ganglion combined with nasal hormone had more advantages in improving VAS score.(1)visual analogue scale(VAS)score:after treatment,VSA scores of nasal symptoms in both groups were significantly decreased, and the difference was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05).The VAS score of nasal symptoms in the acupuncture and drug combination group was lower than that in the momethasone furoate group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment, the symptoms of nasal congestion, nasal itching and runny nose were lower in the VAS score group than in the mofuroisone group(nasonex),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the sneezing groups.(2)symptom score: after treatment, the two groups of patients' quality of life scores were significantly reduced, compared with the data before treatment, the test results were statistically significant(P < 0.05);The scores of patients in the acupuncture and drug combination group were lower than those in the neishuina group after treatment, and the difference was significant(P < 0.05).(3)physical score: there was no significant difference between the two groups in physical score before and after treatment(P > 0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups after treatment.(4)TCM syndrome type score: the two groups of data in the physical signs of integral before and after treatment were decreased, the test results showed significant differences(P < 0.05),but after treatment there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group data(P > 0.05).(5)curative effect: the significant efficiency(10.05%)and total effective rate(94.73%)of the subjects in the acupuncture and drug combination group were compared with those in the nasonex group(0%,94.11%),and the difference in total effective rate was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.Nasal glucocorticoids and sphenopalatine ganglion acupuncture can effectively relieve the nasal symptoms of vasomotor rhinitis; The effect of relieving nasal congestion was the most obvious in acupuncture and drug combination group.2.The combination of acupuncture and medicine is better than the single use of momethasone furoate in relieving nasal congestion, nasal itching and nasal overflow.3.Short-term acupuncture combined with nasosula did not significantly improve local nasal signs.
