Objective: To analyze the basic situation of chronic constipation patients undergoing intestinal preparation, and to evaluate the difference of intestinal preparation, adverse reactions, intestinal cleanliness and disease diagnostic rate between the two schemes by clinical study of compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder(PEG-ELS)(I)combined with procapril and Senna leaves, respectively. The effectiveness and safety of the case provide guidance and reference for intestinal preparation program for patients with chronic constipation.Method: To analyze the basic situation of chronic constipation patients undergoing intestinal preparation, and to evaluate the difference of intestinal preparation, adverse reactions, intestinal cleanliness and disease diagnostic rate between the two schemes by clinical study of compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder(PEG-ELS)(I)combined with procapril and Senna leaves, respectively. The effectiveness and safety of the case provide guidance and reference for intestinal preparation program for patients with chronic constipation.Result:(1)There was no statistical difference in the basic condition between the two groups(P > 0.05),which was comparable.(2)The age of male patients with chronic constipation was older than that of female patients, with significant statistical difference(p < 0.01).(3)The duration of chronic constipation in female patients was longer than that in male patients(p < 0.05).(4)There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05)in the time from medication to first stool, the time from medication to last stool, last stool score, total bowel movements from medication to colonoscopy. Before and after intestinal preparation, the intestinal preparation intention of patients in experimental group 1 decreased, while that in experimental group 2 increased.(5)The total incidence of adverse reactions in experimental group 1 was higher than that in experimental group 2(p < 0.01),but there was no significant difference in the total score of adverse reactions(P > 0.05).(6)There was no significant difference in the entrance time of enteroscopy, the cleanliness score of three segments of intestine, intestinal preparation adequacy rate, diagnostic rate of polyps, the number of intestinal segments to be washed during colonoscopy, the number of intestinal segments still not visible after irrigation, but the total cleanliness score of the experimental group 2 was higher than that of the experimental group 1,with statistical difference(p < 0.05).Conclusion:(1)The degree of adverse reactions in the experimental group 2 was relatively serious, and the incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group 1 was relatively high, but there was no statistical difference in the total score of adverse reactions.(2)The intestinal cleanliness of PEG-ELS(I)combined with senna leaf in intestinal preparation was better than that of combined with procapril.
