Objective To explore the causes of senile megaloblastic anemia in Qing hai area,to treat and prevent the cause of the disease,to provide suggestions for timely diagnosis of the disease and reduce the incidence of the disease,and improve the quality of life of the elderly.Method Strictly in accordance with the diagnostic and exclusion criteria,500 elderly megaloblastic anemia patients aged ?65 years old who were admitted to the hospital of Qing hai University from January 2010 to September 2018 were enrolled.Relevant clinical data were collected and their clinical manifestations and correlations were analyzed.Inspection and inspection indicators.Results 1.There was no significant difference in age composition between male and female patients with elderly MA in Qing hai(P>0.05).2.Most of the diet structure imbalance(88%),anorexia(66.4%),etc.54.6% elderly MA patients with digestive diseases,mainly chronic atrophic gastritis(84.6%).There was no significant difference in the degree of anemia among men and women in Qing hai(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the degree of anemia between Han and Hui,Tibetan and Salar(P>0.05).The LDH,HBDH,TBIL,DBIL and IBIL of elderly patients with MA increased to different degrees.There were significant differences in folate and vitB12 deficiency between the different anemia patients in elderly patients in Qing hai(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in folic acid and vitB12 deficiency among different ethnic groups(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between digestive tract disease and vitB12 deficiency(P<0.05).7.The factors affecting the degree of anemia are diet structure(OR=0.746),diabetes(OR=3.083).8.All elderly patients with MA were treated with folic acid and vitB12,and the blood routine and biochemical parameters were reviewed.The correlation test values before and after treatment were statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion 1.The majority of elderly MA patients in Qing hai area were moderate to severe anemia.2.There was no significant difference in the degree of anemia,folic acid and vitB12 levels among different nationalities of elderly MA patients in Qing hai area.3.In Qing hai area,vitB12 deficiency is the main cause of elderly MA patients.4.Hemolysis often occurs in elderly MA patients.IBIL and LDH and HBDH are significantly increased.5.Folic acid and vitB12 were effective,and the hemogram improved significantly after treatment.6.The factors influence the degree of anemia are dietary structure and diabetes mellitus.
