Objective: To investigate the changes of coagulation function and blood lipid levels in children with Kawasaki disease(KD),and to explore the correlation between them and their association with inflammation. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to select 65 children with Kawasaki disease as KD group(46 cases in CAL group and 19 cases in NCAL group)and 65 healthy children who underwent physical examination in our hospital at the same time as control group. The coagulation and blood lipid indexes in the acute phase and subacute phase of the KD group and control group were measured. The following indexes were measured by automatic coagulation analyzer.Coagulation parameters: prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT),fibrinogen(FIB).Anticoagulant index: antithrombin-III(AT-III).Fibrinolytic indicators: fibrinogen degradation products(FDP),D-dimer(D-Dimer).The blood lipid indexs was determined by automatic biochemical analysis.Including: total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),low density lipoprotein(LDL),high density lipoprotein(HDL).Other laboratory data such as platelet(PLT),C-reactive protein(CRP),and interleukin-6(IL-6)were collected and analyzed. Results: 1.PLT,PT,APTT,FIB,FDP and D-Dimer in KD group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05),while TT and AT-III were lower(P<0.05).Subacute PT,APTT,FIB,FDP and D-Dimer were lower than the acute phase(P<0.05),and PLT,TT and AT-III were increased(P<0.05).2.The TG of KD group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the HDL was decreased(P<0.05).The TC,TG and LDL in the subacute phase were higher than those in the acute phase(P<0.05).3.Except that TT in CAL group was higher than NCAL group(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in other index(P>0.05).4.PT,FIB,FDP,D-Dimer were positively correlated with CRP and IL-6 in acute stage of KD(P<0.05),while TT,AT-III were negatively correlated with CRP and IL-6(P<0.05).5.There was a negative correlation between HDL and IL-6 in acute KD(P<0.05).6.There was a negative correlation between PLT,PT and TG in acute phase of KD(P<0.05),FDP and D-Dimer were negatively correlated with HDL(P<0.05),and PLT was positively correlated with LDL(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Dysfunction of coagulation and fibrinolysis occurs in the acute phase of KD.They recovered more or less in the subacute phase, but the PLT rise is more obvious.2.In the acute phase of KD,the protective effect of HDL is weakened, while high level of TG increases inflammatory reaction.Subsequently,TC and LDL were disturbed in the subacute stage, suggesting that blood lipid levels are disordered for a long time after the acute phase of KD.3.In acute stage of KD,inflammatory reaction was activated, coagulation system was disordered, and blood lipid level was disordered. These three factors are closely related and interacted with each other.
