Objective:To investigate the difference of young's modulus of elasticity between CCC and BA by real-time shear wave elastography to indirectly reflect the degree of CCC's liver fibrosis,providing an objective basis for clinical assessment of CCC's preoperative liver fibrosis.Methods:21 children with congenital choledochal cyst,40 children with biliary atresia and 18 normal infants were examined by SWE,then calculated and compared the young's modulus of liver elasticity in each group.Results: 1.The average young's modulus(6.45±2.01)kPa in the CCC group was higher than that in the normal group(4.74±0.39)kPa,P<0.05,the liver elasticity of CCC group was higher than that of normal group;The average young's modulus(6.45±2.01)kPa in the CCC group was less than that in the BA group(17.24±10.21)kPa,P<0.05,and the degree of liver elasticity change in CCC group was less than that in BA group.2.Young's modulus of liver elasticity in CCC group was independent of day/age and the cyst size,the correlation coefficients were respectively r=0.153,0.156 and P>0.05.Conclusion: 1.The average young's modulus of the liver of the CCC group was higher than that of the normal group,indicating that there was a certain degree of liver tissue elasticity change in the CCC group.It suggests that the CCC group may have a certain degree of liver fibrosis,but the degree is less than the BA group2.Two children in the CCC group presented obvious fibrosis in the liver,reaching BA severity,SWE can be used as an objective method for preoperative assessment of the degree of liver fibrosis of CCC,providing an important basis for the selection of surgical timing for CCC children...
