Objective:Summarizing the experience of diagnosis and treatment of solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas(solid pseudopapilary neroplasm of the pancreas,SPN)to provide a basis for improving the level of diagnosis and treatment of SPN.Methods:We collected clinical data of 48 cases with pathologically diagnosed as SPN from January 2013 to December 2018 in Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University. Then we retrospectively reviewed and analyzed the results of diagnosis and treatmen and all of the patients were followed-up.Result:Among 48 SPN patients,5 were male and 43 were female, aged 9 to 69 years and mean age was 31.46.SPN was mostly found by physical examination and check after of abdominal discomfort.Imaging examination mainly includes CT and MRI.SPN was usually located in the body and tail or head of the pancreas. All patients received surgery, mainly including distal pancreatectomy and pancreatoduodenectomy.Postoperative hospital stay lasted for 22.46±13.65 days. All the patients were followed up,with consulation period lasting for 3~69 months. All the patients were generally in good condition and no tumor recurrence or metastasis was found. Conclusion:SPN is a rare low-grade malignant tumor and mostly affects young females.Clinical symptoms and laboratory tests have no obvious specificity.CT and MRI are helpful for preoperative diagnosis of SPN,but the confirmed diagnosis still depends on histopathological examination.A good prognosis can be obtained by surgically removing the tumor completely.Laparoscopic surgery has the advantages of minimally invasive, quick recovery after surgery, and is worthy of promotion.
