Objective: To investigate the expression of miR-21 in bladder tumor and its potential relations to cancer cell invasion and angiogenesis. Methods: 94 bladder tumor patients who received radical cystectomy in the First People's Hospital of Xianyang City between February 2015 and June 2017 were enrolled in this study. The proper bladder tumor lesion and adjacent lesion were collected and detected the expression of miR-21 and mRNA of invasion genes and angiogenesis genes. The relations between the expression of miR-21 and invasion /angiogenesis mRNA were conducted. Results: Among all 94 paitents,64 cases were male as 30 cases were female, gander ratio were presented as 2.13:1,the mean age were(62.3±10.8)years old.The post-operation pathology demonstrated 26 cases were low risk while 68 were high risk. The miR-21 expression in bladder tumor tissue was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissue;CDH13 and CBX7 mRNA expression in tumor tissue were significantly lower than those in adjacent tissue while TRAP-1,KPNA2,TRPM8,EDIL3,HGF,VEGF and Epha2 mRNA expression were significantly higher than those in adjacent tissue.CDH13 and CBX7 mRNA expression in tumor tissue with high miR-21 expression were significantly lower than those in tumor tissue with low miR-21 expression while TRAP-1,KPNA2,TRPM8,EDIL3,HGF,VEGF and Epha2 mRNA expression were significantly higher than those in bladder tumor tissue with low miR-21 expression. Conclusion: The high expression of miR-21 in bladder tumor could be determined and which might related to the invasion and the angiogenesis gene expression in bladder tumor cells.
