Objective: Clinical efficacy of rhino horn Rehmannia decoction in the treatment of blood-heat psoriasis vulgaris and changes of peripheral blood IL-6?TNF-? level before and after treatment were observed. To explore the possible mechanism of rhino horn Rehmannia decoction in treating blood-heat psoriasis vulgaris. Methods: According to the random number table method,81 patients with blood-heat psoriasis vulgaris who were finally included in the study observation were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,42 cases and 39 cases, respectively. In addition,25 normal people in the medical examination center of our hospital were set up as normal group. The treatment group treated with rhino horn Rehmannia decoction, the control group treated with oral compound glycyrrhizin tablets, the total treatment time of the two groups was 8 weeks. Before and after treatment,TCM symptom score and PASI score were recorded. Before and after treatment,TCM syndrome score,PASI score and clinical efficacy were statistically analyzed. Two pairs Blood urine routine and liver and kidney function test were performed 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment. Before and after treatment, two ml of elbow venous blood were collected in the treatment group and the control group, and two ml of elbow venous blood were extracted in the normal group.ELISA method(enzyme-linked immunoassay)was used to detect the level of peripheral blood IL-6?TNF-? in patients with hemorrhagic psoriasis and healthy control group. The statistical analysis compared the differences between the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment, and compared the laboratory indexes of the normal group with the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment. Results: 1.TCM syndrome score and PASI score: there was statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).2.Total clinical effective rate: the total clinical effective rate of the treatment group was 85.71%,among which the number of cured, significant and effective was 8,18,10,and the number of invalid was 6,while the total clinical effective rate of the control group was 89.74%,among which the number of cured, significant and effective was 7,17,11,and the number of invalid was 4.clinical total effective rate was not statistically significant compared(P>0.05).3.IL-6?TNF-? level: compared with normal group, the IL-6?TNF-? level of treatment group and control group before treatment was higher(P<0.05).The two indexes in the treatment group were lower than before treatment(P<0.05),but higher than that in the normal group(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference between the IL-6?TNF-? levels in the treatment group and the control group after treatment(P<0.05).4.safety evaluation: no abnormal blood urine routine and liver and kidney function test were found during and after treatment, indicating the safety of the treatment adopted in this study is ok.Conclusion: The clinical efficacy and safety of rhino horn Rehmannia decoction in treating blood-heat psoriasis vulgaris are positive.Blood-heat psoriasis vulgaris may be related to abnormal levels of peripheral blood IL-6?TNF-?,and the treatment of blood-heat psoriasis vulgaris with rhino horn Rehmannia decoction may be by regulating the level of peripheral blood IL-6?TNF-?.
