Investigation On Medicinal Plant Resourcesin Naiman Inner Mongolia

Objective:To investigate the Mongolian Traditional Chinese medicine resources in the plant area of Naiman Banner in Tongliao City,and to obtain the quantity of family,genus and species of medicinal plants and rare protected plants in the plant area of Naiman Banner.In order to provide basic information for the overall planning of the management,protection,development and utilization of the local traditional Chinese medicine resources.Methods:literature research,field survey,market survey,planting survey,interview survey,specimen collection and identification were used.Results:(1)246 species of vascular medicinal plants belonging to 181 genera,65 families were recorded.Among them,there are 4 species of Medicinal Pteridophytes,belonging to 2 families and 2 genera;3 species of medicinal gymnosperms,belonging to 2 families and 3 genera;239 species of medicinal angiosperms,belonging to 61 families and 176 genera.It accounts for 11.26%of the total wild vascular plants in Inner Mongolia.(2)Among the 65 families of medicinal plants,Compositae is the most,with 31 genera and 41 species,followed by Leguminosae(16/26),Rosaceae(11/19),Labiatae(9/12),Liliaceae(6/10),Polygonaceae(5/10),Chenopodiaceae(6/8),Gramineae(5/6)and Ranunculaceae(6/6).The 9 families of medicinal plants belong to 138 species,accounting for 56.11%of the total number of medicinal plants in Inner Mongolia.(3)Among the precious plants under special protection in the whole area,there are 6 kinds of medicinal plants under special national protection,among which wild soybean,ephedra,rose,liquorice,Dioscorea nipponica and scarlet are the second-class national protected medicinal plants.There are 24 species of medicinal plants under special protection at the autonomous region level.(4)According to the investigation and statistics,there are 60 species of medicinal plants in the desert of Naiman Banner.24.39%of the total.(5)There are 18 kinds of medicinal materials planted on a large scale,including Astragalus,Achyranthes bidentata and Hippophae rhamnoides,with an area of 20112 mu.Among them,the largest planting area of Astragalus is 5200 mu,the estimated total output is 1252t,the next largest planting area of Achyranthes bidentata is 5000 mu,and the estimated total output is 690t.The main medicinal materials are seabuckthorn,coral vegetable,Leonurus japonicus,Atractylodes macrocephala,Platycodon grandiflorum,radix salviae miltiorrhizae,liquorice,Scutellaria,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis,Rhizoma Atractylodis,Fructus Arctii,Polygala,aster,Qumai.(6)According to the investigation of drug market in Naiman Banner,49 species of plants were recorded.Among them,the annual sales volume of Rehmannia is the largest,reaching 636kg,followed by Astragalus,with an annual sales volume of 608kg.The local herbs are Platycodon grandiflorum,Sophora flavescens,Polygala,astragalus,Qumai,Scutellaria,Salvia miltiorrhiza,coral vegetable,motherwort,Atractylodes,licorice,etc.(7)This survey of traditional Chinese medicine resources obtained 24 prescriptions.Conclusion:the results of this study are a statistical analysis of the species composition,distribution and habitat of medicinal plants in the vegetation area,a brief introduction to the precious medicinal plants,and a feasible report on their development and utilization.
