thickness of the upper arm were measured and the body mass index was calculated to analyze the child's physical development. After the questionnaire is collected, check and input.Excel2010 was used to build the database and SPSS21.0 software package was used for statistical analysis. Results: 1.Mental health status and intelligence level:(1)there were statistically significant differences in scores general children group and the AIDS orphans group.(2)character flaw, bad habits, behavior disorders, and significant difference between total deviation detection rate in the three groups(P<0.05),learning disabilities, mood disorders, personality defects, social adaptation obstacles deviating from the difference between detection rate in the threegroups was not significant(P>0.05),AIDS orphans and ordinary orphan group mental health score deviation detection rate(3.1%,7.6%)were higher than general from children(0.7%).(3)the scores and total scores of the ravens reasoning test in the AIDS orphan group were significantly lower than those in the general children group and the general orphan group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)AIDS orphans are more introverted than ordinary children and ordinary orphans, and their peer relationship is worse than that of ordinary children and AIDS orphans.(5)Pearson correlation analysis was carried out between the scores and the total scores of the raven reasoning test for AIDS orphans and their academic performance. At the level of 0.05(bilateral),item D(series relationship)was significantly correlated with the unqualified academic performance(<60 points),showing a negative correlation. At the level of 0.05(on both sides),the scores of item D(series relation)and item E(abstract reasoning)and the total score were significantly correlated with the excellent academic performance(90-100 points),which were all positively correlated.(6)logistic regression analysis showed that family structure and academic emaciation in the AIDS orphans group was greater than that in the general children group and the general orphans group, while there was no statistical significance in the other age groups among the three groups(P>0.05).3.The dietary nutrition status:(1)the energy and nutrient intake: energy, protein, fat, vitamin A,vitamin B1,vitamin B2,vitamin B6,vitamin E,vitamin C,folic acid, niacin, vitamin D,calcium, iron, zinc, copper, the average daily intake of the difference among three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),the rest of the carbohydrates, average daily intake of iodine in no significant difference between the three groups(P>0.05).(2)average daily intake of all kinds of food: the average daily intake of vegetables, fruits, milk, oil and salt was different between the three groups(P<0.05),while the average daily intake of grains, meat, eggs and aquatic products was not significantlydifferent between the three groups(P>0.05).(3)assessment of main food intake: the intake
