BackgroundFor the sustainable prosperity and development of the country,China has further promoted the construction of "Healthy China 2030".The promotion of national physical health must be integrated with national fitness and continue to strengthen the implementation of the "National Fitness Plan".While,to carry out the "National Nutrition Plan(2017-2030)" is another important connotation and requirement of Healthy China.On the other hand,adolescents are the hope of our great national rejuvenation.The government has always given a high attention and supporting policies on the problem of teenagers' physical health.However,there are still a lot of problems to be solved under the new situation,and also many serious challenges on this issue.ObjectivesThe medical students in secondary vocational school will be grass-roots medical and health workers.Their health not only lies in their own physical and psychological development,but also is an important support for the continuous improvement of the health of national people.This study combines physical activity,physical attitude,dietary nutrition and nutritional KAP to investigate the physical health status of medical secondary vocational students.By exploring the relationship and regularity between physical fitness and nutrition,we hope to promote physical health education of medical secondary vocational students and improve their physical health level.Methods240 students have been tested with their physical health,and investigations included physical activity level,attitude to physical exercise,dietary nutrition and nutritional KAP have conducted to the students at the same time.SPSS 19.0 software is used for statistical processing of test and survey data.ResultsThe average score of physical health test was 67.98±10.78.And endurance running scored the lowest,only 44.63±26.35.The total score of boys was lower than that of girls(P<0.01).The total score of urban students was lower than that of rural students(P<0.01).Physical activity level of medical secondary vocational students is generally low.The proportion of the students with high physical activity level was 9.58%,30.83%in middle physical activity level and 59.58%in low physical activity level.The influence of physical activity level on physical health was not significant(P>0.05).The students'attitude to physical exercise was in general,and boys were better than girls(P<0.01).The more positive the attitude towards physical exercise,the higher the proportion of students with high and middle physical activity level is(P<0.01).There was a low positive correlation between the total score of physical attitude and the total score of physical health test,the correlation coefficient r=0.262(P<0.01).The energy intake of medical secondary vocational students is generally insufficient.The energy composition ratio of carbohydrates is lower than suggested,while that of fats is higher than suggested.Students' intake of calcium,magnesium,potassium,selenium,iodine,vitamin B1,vitamin B2,vitamin C,vitamin B12 and folic acid was insufficient,while vitamin B3 and vitamin E were excessive.There was no significant difference in nutrient intake among different physical health grades(P>0.05).The nutritional KAP of students is general.Family and monthly dietary expenses has an effect on nutritional KAP(P<0.01).The students' nutritional knowledge was not well grasped,their attitude towards nutrition was relatively good,and their nutritional practice was not so good.Nutritional KAP has no obvious effect on dietary nutrition.There was a low positive correlation between the total score of nutritional KAP and the total score of physical health test,and the correlation coefficient r=0.345(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in dietary nutrient intake among the groups of medical secondary vocational students with different physical activity levels(P>0.05).There was a moderate positive correlation between students' physical attitude and nutritional KAP,the correlation coefficient r=0.430(P<0.01).Conclusion1.The physical health level of medical secondary vocational students is in general,and there are many problems with that.2.The level of physical activity of medical secondary vocational students is low,and their enthusiasm for physical exercise is poor.A good attitude towards physical exercise is conducive to the improvement of physical activity and physical health.3.Medical secondary vocational students have poor dietary structure,unsatisfactory nutritional status and insufficient intake of various dietary nutrients.The students'nutrition KAP level of is in general.Poor nutrition knowledge directly affects students' nutrition behavior.The higher the nutritional KAP score,the better the physical health level.There is a trend of behavior coordination between physical activity level and dietary nutrition of medical secondary vocational students.Physical attitude and nutritional KAP are unified in health psychology.
