Objective:Extract objective data from the real world,to explore the distribution law of TCM syndrome types of peptic ulcer, and to further analyze the inherent changes of the factors related to TCM syndrome types, and to provide certain theoretical basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of peptic ulcer. Methods:This study collected the data of 158 inpatients who were diagnosed with peptic ulcer in the Department of Gastroenterology,Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2015 to December 2018.The distribution of peptic ulcer TCM syndromes, age, gender, season of onset, occupation, course of disease, length of hospital stay, clinical symptoms, tongue coating, gastroscopic performance, treatment and other factors were described and correlated.Results:1.Distribution of TCM syndromes: Liver-stomach disharmony syndrome(42.40%)>Stomach stasis syndrome(25.32%)> Spleen-stomach weakness syndrome(13.29%)>Liver-stomach stagnation-heat syndrome(12.03%)> Spleen-stomach dampness-heat syndrome(6.33%)> Gastric Yin deficiency syndrome(0.63%).2.Among the 158 cases of PU,107 were male and 51 were female, and the ratio of male to female was 2.10:1.The age range is 21-80 years, and average age is 52.97 years. After 30 years of age,the incidence rate began to increase, and the incidence rate was highest in patients aged 50 to 69 years, accounting for 57.59%.There were no statistical difference in the gender distribution among all age groups and TCM syndrome types, but there were statistically significant differences in the age distribution between Liver-stomach discord syndrome,Stomach stasis syndrome, and Spleen-stomach weakness syndrome.3.The longest history of PU was 30 years, with a median of 3 months, and the average course is 22.93 months.Patients with a disease course of ? 1 month accounted for the highest proportion, accounting for 34.18%.4.The incidence of the disease in four seasons: autumn = winter > spring > summer. There were no statistical difference in the onset season between the TCM syndrome types.5.Causes of the disease: Tobacco addiction > Unhealthy diet > Unhealthy mood >Taking medication > Weather change > Overworked.Hp positive rate was 56.20%.There were no statistical difference in Hp infection among the TCM syndrome types.6.Common symptoms of this disease include stomachache(bloating pain, dull pain, burning pain, tingling),acid reflux, dry mouth, heartburn, yellow urine, fatigue, poor appetite and insomnia.Red tongue, white moss and taut pulses are common.7.The types of peptic ulcer are Duodenal ulcer(45.57%)> Gastric ulcer(29.11%)>Compound ulcer(18.99%)> Esophageal ulcer(3.80%)> Pyloric tube ulcer(2.53%);Active phase of ulcer(87.98%)> Healing phase(6.96%)> Scarring phase(5.06%);Multiple ulcers(53.16%)> Single ulcer(46.84%).8.The traditional Chinese medicines used more than 50% in the treatment of this disease include licorice, white peony root, bupleurum root, dried tangerine peel, rhubarb, ligusticum chuanxiong hort and cyperus rotundus. The top 5 medicines used are tonic medicine,Qi-regulating drugs, antipyretics, diaphoretic drugs, and activating blood circulation medicine.9.The use of adjuvant therapy: External application of traditional Chinese medicine>Moxibustion> Acupuncture. There were no statistical difference in adjuvant therapy among TCM syndrome types.Conclusion:1.Men are more susceptible to this disease than women,middle-aged and older people are more susceptible to this disease, and autumn-winter-based seasons are common. The common causes are Hp infection, tobacco addiction, unhealthy diet and mood disorders.2.Liver-stomach disharmony syndrome is the most common, followed by Stomach stasis syndrome, and Gastric Yin deficiency syndrome is the least.3.The main symptoms of PU are bloating pain, dull pain, burning pain or tingling, often accompanied by gastrointestinal symptoms such as acid reflux, dry mouth, heartburn and poor appetite.Red tongue, white moss and taut pulses are common.4.The treatment of PU is mainly to relieve liver and qi,strengthen the spleen and stomach. At the same time pay attention to purgating fu-organs to eliminate heat.Traditional Chinese medicine combined with infrared irradiation treatment are commonly used as adjuvant treatment methods in our department, with a utilization rate of 83.54%.
