Research purposes:This study aims to find out which can help to determine the influencing factors of benign and malignant solitary pulmonary nodules by analyzing the imaging features and clinical features of patients with solitary pulmonary nodules.Research method:From January 2018 to October 2019,the data of patients who were hospitalized, diagnosed as SPN and completed the operation in the Department of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery from the First Affiliated Hospital of University of South China were collected, for which the clinical information and imaging statistical data was included as: age, gender, smoking history, nodule components(solid nodule, mixed nodule, ground glass nodule),nodule size, nodule margin(lobular sign, hairpin sign, pleural indentation sign),nodule location, pathological diagnosis results, etc.SPSS 25.0 was used for statistical analysis.Research result:A total of 393 patients were included in this study, including 195males(49.6%)and 198 females(50.4%).The age was ranged among17-77 years, with an average age as(57.46 ± 10.33)years.There were309 patients with malignant solitary pulmonary nodules,84 patients with benign solitary pulmonary nodules. The clinical data for patients was recorded as: gender, age, smoking history, clinical symptoms.Imaging features as solid nodules, mixed nodules, ground glass nodules, burr sign, lobulated sign, pleural depression sign, anatomical location, nodule size and other factors were statistically analyzed. The results were shown that the spiculation sign(P<0.05),mixed nodules(P<0.05),age(P<0.05)were significantly different in benign and malignant solitary pulmonary nodules, which was shown as the statistical significance.Logistic multivariate regression analysis was shown that age(OR=1.104,P<0.05),mixed nodules(OR=1.145,P<0.05),spiculation sign(OR=6.334,P<0.05)were independent risk factors for the nature of isolated pulmonary nodules. The benign and malignant of solitary pulmonary nodules were related to age.The older the age,the greater the probability of malignancy. The solitary pulmonary nodules with spiculation signs and mixed nodules were more likely to be malignant on imaging.Conclusion:1.The greater the age,the greater the probability of malignant solitary pulmonary nodules.Age is an independent risk factor for malignant solitary pulmonary nodules.2.It should be paid attention to the imaging features of solitary pulmonary nodules showing with spiculation signs and mixed nodules. The spiculation signs and mixed nodules are independent risk factors for solitary pulmonary nodules in this study.
