Objective:To explore the effect of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase gene C677T polymorphism on plasma homocysteine;To explore the relationship between homocysteine and coronary heart disease in Han population in Yibin area;To understand the distribution of MTHFR C677T genotype in the study population;To explore the relationship between the MTHFR gene C677T polymorphism and coronary heart disease in the Han population in Yibin,and to find the susceptible genotypes.Methods:Using case-control study method,There are 116 patients with coronary heart disease and 96 patients with non-coronary heart disease.4-6ml of blood was collected from the catheterization laboratory and sent to the laboratory of our hospital.The PCR-fluorescent probe method was used to detect the MTHFR genotype.The blood pressure,blood glucose,blood lipid,Hcy and other data were collected.Statistical analysis is performed by t test,X2 test,logistic regression analysis and other methods.P<0.05 is statistically significant.Results:1.The average level of Hcy in the coronary heart disease group is higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);2.The TT,CT,and CC genotype frequencies of the study population are24.1%,42.9%and 33.0%respectively,and there is no gender difference in each genotype;3.Plasma Hcy levels are different in patients with different MTHFR C677T genotypes(P<0.05);4.The frequency of TT genotype and T allele in the coronary heart disease group is higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);5.Compared with the C allele,the T allele has an increased risk of coronary heart disease(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The 677C?T mutation of the MTHFR gene may be related to the onset of coronary heart disease.The TT genotype may be its susceptible genotype,and carrying the T allele may increase its risk of disease.2.The 677C?T mutation of MTHFR gene may increase the level of Hcy.3.Increased Hcy levels may increase the risk of coronary heart disease.
