Objective:Through literature screening and meta-analysis,various risk factors of temporary urinary incontinence after transurethral resection of benign prostatic hyperplasia were explored in order to fully understand its occurrence characteristics and better guide clinical treatment plans and surgical techniques. Methods:We used computers to search English databases such as PubMed,Embase and Cochrane Library, and Chinese databases such as cnki and wanfang,to search all case-control studies on influencing factors of temporary urinary incontinence after tranurethral resection of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)from the establishment of the database to July 2019.Revman5.3 was used for meta-analysis of the literature. The English themes were "Prostatic Hypertrophy","Transurethral resection of prostate" and "resection incontinence",while the Chinese themes were "Prostatic hyperplasia","Transurethral prostatectomy" and "Urinary incontinence".The theme and free words were used for retrieval.Result:A total of 1332 articles were retrieved, and 8 articles were finally included, all of which were published, and the study type was case control study, with a total of 5387 cases, including 487 positive cases of urinary incontinence, with the highest NOS score of 7 and the lowest NOS score of 5.A total of 14 risk factors were screened, and univariate analysis showed age [OR=2.47,95%CI(1.37,3.56),P=0.000],prostate volume [OR=8.45,95%CI(1.35,15.56),P=0.02],operation time [OR=12.06,95%CI(7.88,16.24),P=0.000],resection volume [OR=8.11,95%CI(2.88,13.34),P=0.002],PVR[OR=36.92,95%CI(5.22,68.63),P=0.02],diabetes history [OR=2.25,95%CI(1.27,4.00),P=0.005] were the influencing factors of urinary incontinence after minimally invasive prostatic hyperplasia surgery.Multivariate analysis showed that age [OR= 2.12,95%ci(1.97,2.27),P=0.000],operation time [OR=13.17,95%CI(9.84,16.50),P=0.000],diabetes history [OR= 3.48,95%CI(2.16,5.60),P=0.000] was an independent risk factor for postoperative urinary incontinence. Conclusion:Age,prostate volume, operation time, resection volume,PVR,diabetes history were correlated with the occurrence of temporary urinary incontinence after transurethral resection of prostatic hyperplasia; And age, operation time and history of diabetes were independent risk factors for urinary incontinence after minimally invasive prostatic hyperplasia.
