Objective : To study the expression of cancer embryo antigen(CEA),neuron-specific enolase(NSE),cell keratin 19 fragment(cyfra21-1)and carbohydrate antigen(CA153)in serum of lung cancer patients, and their effects on the prognosis of patients with lung cancer. Methods: 79 cases of lung cancer were diagnosed by pathology and cytology in our hospital.79 cases of lung cancer were classified into four categories: 42 cases of squamous-cell carcinoma,15 cases of small cell carcinoma,2 cases of adeno phosphate carcinoma and 20 cases of adenocarcinoma.79 cases of lung cancer without metastasis and with metastasis were 37 cases and 42 cases respectively.Thirty-six patients with lung cancer who underwent health examination in our hospital during the same period were selected for comparative analysis. The serum levels of CEA,NSE,CYFRA21-1and CA15-3 in 79 patients with lung cancer and normal control group were measured by Roche E170.To analyze the expression of serum tumor markers in different stages and metastasia of lung cancer. Results: There were no significant differences in age, gender or body mass index between 79 lung cancer patients and 36 healthy physical examiners(P>0.05).The serum levels of CEA,NSE,cyfra21-1 and CA153 were significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The serum marker levels of patients with stage III and IV lung cancer were significantly higher than those of patients with stage I and II(P<0.01).Serum tumor markers in patients without metastatic lung cancer were significantly lower than those in patients with metastatic lung cancer, and the difference between the two was statistically significant The sensitivity of the combined detection of serum tumor markers was 71.94%,and the specificity was 97.25% without significant change. The survival rate of lung cancer patients with high expression of serum markers was lower than that of normal patients. Conclusion:Four tumor markers(CEA,CA153,NSE,cyfra21-1)have a high clinical significance in guiding lung cancer metastasis and lung cancer stage, and are closely related to the disease condition, stage, pathological type and clinical prognosis, contributing to early detection, diagnosis and treatment, which is significantly better than a single tumor marker.
