Efficacy And Safety Of Probiotics Combined With Mesalazine In The Treatment Of Mild-to-moderate Ulcerative Colitis:A Meta-analysis

Objective:We searched a randomized controlled clinical study on the combination of probiotics and mesalazine in the treatment of mild and moderate ulcerative colitis(UC),and systematically evaluated its efficacy and safety,providing a basis for the treatment of UCMethods:To search the clinical randomized controlled trials(RCT)roundly and systematically on probiotics combined with mesalazine for UC published before September 2019 in the databases of CNKI,VIP,Wanfang,CBM,PubMed,Cochrane Library,EMbase,etc.The literature was screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,and the migration risk assessment was carried out for the literature meeting the criteria.Meta analysis was performed with RevMan5.3 soft wareResults:A total of 1451 patients were included in 16 studies.Meta analysis results showed that:(1)Compared with the mesalazine alone,combination of probiotics can improve the total effective rate of UC[OR=4.56,95%CI(3.18,6.53),Z=826,P<0.05),and reduce TNF-?,IL-10;reduce the MDA and increase the SOD;reduce the D-lactic acid and the DAO;to improve the index CD4+/CD8+;reduce the DAI;(2)adverse reactions have no obvious difference between two groups[M D=0.63,95%CI(0.33,1.20),Z=1.41,P>0.05]Conclusion:Probiotics combined with mesalazine in the treatment of UC can significantly improve the therapeutic efficiency,reduce inflammatory factors and stress levels,protect the intestinal mucosal barrier,reduce disease activity,and regulate the immune function of T lymphocytes in patients with UC.It provides a new idea for clinical treatment of mild-to-moderate UC.
