Objective:To study the long-term effect of surgical treatment of laryngeal cancer patients in recent 10 years in our hospital, and analyze the relevant factors that affect the survival and prognosis of patients,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the choice of treatment plan and prediction of survival and prognosis of patients with laryngeal cancer. Methods:The clinical data of 477 patients with laryngeal cancer from 2007 to 2016 were collected by retrospective study, and the factors influencing the survival rate were statistically analyzed based on the follow-up results. Results:A total of 325 patients were enrolled in the study. The ratio of male to female was10.21:1.The average age at diagnosis was 62±9.84 years. The 5-year overall survival rate,disease-specific survival rate, and disease-free survival rate of the cumulative survival curve were 75.4%,78.2%,and 71.2%,respectively.Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in survival distribution among age, clinical stage,T grade, lymph node metastasis, recurrence and surgical approach between groups(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that the elderly, recurrence and late stage were closely related to the decrease of survival rate, and were independent risk factors for the overall survival rate of patients(P < 0.05).Conclusion:The overall 5-year survival rate of the patients in this study is high, which further shows that the first choice of surgical treatment for laryngeal cancer patients in China is feasible.Recurrence, advanced stage and old age are closely related to the poor prognosis of patients after operation. In the future clinical work,we should comprehensively consider the needs of patients and the factors affecting the survival rate, grasp the indications of operation, make personalized operation plan, keep laryngeal function and guarantee the quality of life of patients after operation on the premise of ensuring the survival rate.
