| Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the enhancement effect of gadolinium chelates Magnetic resonance contrast agent at high concentration of 1.0-M and standard concentration of 0.5-M on hepatic parenchyma and proper hepatic artery during arterial phase.Material and methods: This study is a retrospective study, collected liver MRI contrast enhance images without cirrhosis diagnosis, vasoactive drugs recently from January 2017 to December 2018,and the exclusion criteria is no history of liver or spleen surgery, contraindications to nuclear magnetic inspection, portal vein embolizationo or liver placeholder lesions involving cases of portal venous system, finally 57 cases was into the group, including 1.0-M gadolinium chelate contrast agent in 28 cases, and 0.5-M gadolinium chelate contrast agent in 29 cases. The quantitative indexes for the comparative study of the image enhancement effect of the two groups included the percentage of hepatic parenchyma enhancement at arterial stage, the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the contrast noise ratio(CNR)of hepatic parenchyma at arterial stage and the intrinsic hepatic artery. The above quantitative results were statistically analyzed by Normal test,independent-samples T test and Wilcoxon rank sum test.RESULTS: The percentage of hepatic parenchyma enhancement at arterial stage,SNR of the proper hepatic artery,CNR of the proper hepatic artery and hepatic parenchyma at arterial stage at high concentration of 1.0-M gadolinium chelate were significantly higher than those at standard concentration of 0.5-M gadolinium chelate(Respectively,23.29%±15.52%vs15.82%±11.86%,502.63±204.94vs391.23±135.30,372.57±184.92vs257.15±125.64,110.46±54.58vs75.70±40.24,P<0.05),and the difference between them was statistically significant; There was no statistically significant difference between the signal to noise ratio(SNR)of hepatic parenchyma in the arterial phase of them(372.57±184.92vs257.15±125.64,P > 0.05).Conclusion: In contrast enhancement imaging of the liver,at the same injection rate, the enhancement effect of gadolinium chelate with a high concentration of 1.0-M on hepatic parenchyma at arterial stage and proper hepatic artery was better than that of gadolinium chelate with a standard concentration of 0.5-M. |
