Purpose:To explore the diagnostic value of the ratio of blood flow velocity of bilateral renal Veins in Nutcracker Syndrome(NCS)measured by Color Doppler Ultrasonography(CDUS)from the lateral waistMethod:CDUS was used to measure blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein of 25 NCS patients in the experimental group from the lateral waist and blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein in 48 normal controls:(1)The blood flow velocity between the trunk and segmental branches of the renal vein in the control group was compared, and the difference of the renal vein between the trunk and segmental branches in the control group was analyzed. On the premise of no statistical difference, the difference between the bilateral renal vein blood velocity in the control group was analyzed.(2)The blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein in the experimental group was compared and the difference between the blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein was analyzed.(3)Calculate and compare the ratio of blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein in the control group and the experimental group, and analyze the difference between the two groups.(4)Using ROC curve to calculate the cutoff value of the ratio of blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein to diagnose NCS,and to evaluate diagnostic efficacy.Result:1.There is no statistic difference in blood flow velocity between the trunk and segmental branches of renal vein in control group(P > 0.05).2.There is no statistic difference in the blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein in control group(P > 0.05).3.There is statistic difference in the blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein in the experimental group(P < 0.001): the flow velocity of left renal vein is lower than that of right renal vein,.4.There is statistic difference in the ratio of blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein(right/left)between the experimental group and control group(P < 0.001).5.When the cutoff value of the ratio of blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein(right/left)is 1.2,the diagnostic efficiency of nutcracker syndrome was the best(AUC=0.961),the sensitivity and specificity were 96.0% and 89.6%,respectively,and the accuracy was 91.8%.Conclusion:1.It is an effective method to diagnose NCS by the ratio of blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein(right/left).2.When 1.2 is the cutoff value of the ratio of blood flow velocity of bilateral renal vein(right/left),the diagnostic efficacy of NCS is the highest.3.The ratio of blood flow velocity of bilateral renal veins(right/left)may become a valuable quantitative index for the diagnosis of NCS.
