At present,the Chinese teaching of medical students is in the exploration stage,the main problem is the lack of targeted teaching plans and syllabus,the shortage of Chinese teaching materials for medical students,and the preparation of medical Chinese teaching materials is also more difficult.Teaching material is the basis for teachers' teaching and students' learning.As a professional Chinese teaching material,medical Chinese teaching material should not only follow the compiling rules of general Chinese teaching material,but also pay attention to the transition and connection of language knowledge and professional knowledge.The series of practical medical Chinese textbooks are compiled by Wuhan University and the teachers in the front line of medical Chinese teaching in nearly 20 universities in China.This is a very special professional Chinese textbook,which is divided into three parts: "language chapter","basic chapter" and "clinical chapter".The whole textbook is a combination of the whole,and each sub chapter can be used separately.As the starting chapter of this set of medical Chinese textbook,practical medical Chinese language chapter aims to cultivate students' language ability and help students To achieve the goal of transition from language ability to professional ability.Based on the analysis and investigation of the textbook of practical medical Chinese-language volume 1-4,this paper uses quantitative analysis and other research methods from four aspects of vocabulary,grammar,text content and exercise,according to the outline of Chinese proficiency standard and grammar grade 1996,to investigate the characteristics of the textbook in terms of the number of new words,the selection and distribution of grammar points,the subject matter,genre and difficulty of the text,as well as the reference to international The general syllabus of Chinese teaching course(Revised Edition)2014 and the specific characteristics of the textbook studied classify the topics of the textbook.The main findings can be divided into the following four points:1.The selection of vocabulary in teaching materials highlights the characteristics of medical teaching materials.The proportion of medical vocabulary is relatively high,and the number of each volume increases in sequence,realizing the gradual transition and connection of language knowledge and professional knowledge.However,the total number of new words in the textbook is slightly less than the requirements of the outline.2.In the grammar part of the textbook,the number of class A and class B grammar items is too small to cover the requirements of grammar level outline.The quantity control of superdimensional grammar items is improper.In the part of grammar explanation,we use the combination of Chinese and English,and give a lot of examples,but the form of grammar presentation is relatively simple.3.The text content of the textbook has the characteristics of practicality,pertinence and diversification of subjects.The first and the second volumes of textbooks are mainly dialogue,which embodies the principle that the textbooks pay attention to the cultivation of students' communicative competence.The third and the fourth volumes add narrative articles which are mainly expository and narrative,which is helpful to the cultivation of students' discourse comprehension ability.There are many topics in this set of textbooks,among which "social interaction","physical and mental health","hospital scene" and "medical common sense" are the most frequently involved topics.Compared with the first and the second volumes of textbooks,the third and the fourth volumes have suddenly increased in difficulty.They are already in the category of middle and senior textbooks and do not conform to the principle of learners' learning level and gradual progress.4.The first and the second volumes are rich in practice questions.On the basis of fixed questions,the teaching effect is better by adding scattered questions for specific teaching content.But in the third and fourth volumes,the format of the exercises remains basically the same,without much change.The first and the second volumes are mainly about understanding and mechanical exercises,while the third and the fourth volumes are mainly about flexible and understanding exercises.In addition,based on the teaching materials used by the author in Rangsit University,Thailand,this paper analyzes the students' satisfaction with the teaching materials through questionnaire survey of nursing college students,and discusses whether the practical medical Chinese language chapter is suitable for overseas medical students,the difficulties in using the teaching materials and the topics of the teaching materials through the interview information collection of the teachers Whether the setting is reasonable and so on,and puts forward suggestions for the compilation of teaching materials.
