Study On The Correlation Between Histologicalprostatitis Onprostate Volume And Serum Prostate Special Antigen In Patients With Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

Objective : To study the difference of prostate volume(PV)and serum prostate special antigen(PSA)between patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia and those with benign prostatic hyperplasia and histological prostatitis.Methods: A total of 150 patients with prostatic hyperplasia hospitalized in the affiliated hospital of SHIHEZI university from July 2018 to October 2019 were prospectively selected.After definite prostatic hyperplasia,TURP or prostatectomy were performed,and then prostate specimens were routinely collected after surgery and sent to pathology.If the patient has a high serum prostate special antigen,the operation will performed after prostate biopsy has definitely is prostate hyperplasia.According to the histological result from pathological Department,the corresponding BPH patients were divided into four groups: pure BPH group and BPH combined with histological prostatitis groups: mild,moderate and severe.And then the age?prostate volume?PSA were compared by SPSS19.0 statistical software.Results:According to the pathological results,150 subjects were divided into 4 groups:Group one: 17 patients in the pure prostatic hyperplasia group(11.3%);Group two:81 patients in BPH with mild histological prostatitis(54%);Group three:35 patients in BPH with moderate histological prostatitis(23.4%);Group four: 17 patients in BPH with severe histological prostatitis(11.3%).Statistical analysis was carried out on the 150 included cases:(1)The correlation between age of four groups was compared: The average age of four groups are(67.6±8.5)years old,(70.7 ± 8.1)years old,(71.2±7.4)years old and(70.3±6.1)years old,the difference is not statistically significant(p=0.413>0.05).(2)The correlation between histological inflammation and prostate volume was compared in 4 groups: The prostate volume of four groups are(45.64±4.17)m L ?(62.23±6.24)m L ?(68.93±5.73)m L ?(83.15±6.47)m L,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.001),at the same time,the higher the inflammatory grade,the larger the prostate volume,and the histological inflammatory grade is positively correlated with the prostate volume(r=0.755,P<0.001).(3)The correlation between histological inflammation and serum PSA was compared in 4 groups:The serum PSA of four groups are(5.27±3.34)ng/m L?(6.13±3.65)ng/m L?(9.14±4.07)ng/m L and(12.47±3.26)ng/m L,One and two groups which the difference are not statistically significant(P=0.368>0.05),and other groups which the difference are statistically significant(P<0.001),at the same time,it was concluded that the higher the inflammatory grade,the higher the serum PSA value was,and the serum PSA value of histological inflammatory grade was positively correlated(r=0.486,P<0.001).Conclusion :(1)Prostatic hyperplasia with histological prostatitis in the vast majority of patients.(2)Prostate volume was positively correlated with inflammatory degree in patients with prostatic hyperplasia and histological prostatitis.(3)Serum prostate special antigen was positively correlated with inflammatory degree in patients with prostatic hyperplasia and histological prostatitis.
