The Study On Yu Youren's Poems And CiQu

Yu Youren is not only a famous modern calligraphy, but also a famous poet of Nanshe. He wrote many books during his life, embracing article, poetry,CiQu and“Du Shu Zhai Notes”, “Bo Guo CiHua” and “The Discussions of Sao Xin”. However,in addition to the calligraphy, the revolutionary experiences and career of news, there is lacking system research on his literature and its ideas nowadays. This article inherits the achievements of predecessors' research, taking the methods of knowing one person and his world before study,and theory and creation interaction. I write Yu Youren's life and his friends, trying to combine some of the recent literature, and focus on Yu Youren's poetry idea and creation.The preface introduces the research value of the topic, the history and status of Yu Youren's research in different periods. This paper is composed of five parts. The first part consists of two chapters. The First chapter introduces Yu Youren's life and writings in brief. The second chapter presents his companies, including his teachers,friends of the revolution, members of Nanshe and other versatile people. In this way, I explore the development and evolution of his personality and thoughts. The third chapter explains Yu Youren's views on poems. Base on the origin of poetry and the regulations of its ideas and artistic features, I explain “Bo Guo Notes”. In the fourth chapter, I divide his poetry into three periods, choosing the most important theme of poetry to discuss: before 1904, he wrote poems for guiding others for revolution and fighting against the Qing government and the imperialist. From 1906 to 1949, he wrote many poems on the tough revolution the country suffered. From 1949 to 1964,his poems during this period were mainly about “looking forward to motherland ”.The fifth chapter discusses Yu Youren's poetry artistic characteristics. This part contains three meanings: changing with time and diverse styles, studying from different masters and rich materials, being good at changeable poetry forms. The sixth chapter is to summarize Yu Youren's CiQu briefly. In the conclusion part, I make a preliminary evaluation of Yu Youren about his position in the history of modern literature.
