The object of this study is the tombs in Turpan area from Sixth Century B.C.to First Century A.D.In this paper,the tomb in Turpan area in the period is a starting point this study,combined with archaeological data of other cultures,discuss the contact and exchange of various cultures on the east-west traffic route.This paper is divided into three chapters.In Chapter 1,burial shape,burial customs,mainly funerary objects in Turpan area from Sixth Century B.C.to First Century A.D.are divided into some types,and summarizes the characteristics of the tombs and burial customs of tombs in Turpan area,and discusses cultural factors reflected by the unearthed artifacts.In Chapter2,the author compares the tombs and unearthed artifacts in Turpan and other areas,and discuss the cultural relations between them.In Chapter3,through the analysis of relationship of these cultures,to discuss the influence of foreign culture on Turpan culture and the cultural communication and integration between different cultures,and discusses the cultural transmission between the Turpan and other regions.The senior research on the tombs of Turpan area from Sixth Century B.C.to First Century A.D.was mainly based on the stages of burial,the source of culture,the mode of social production and the family.This paper is on the basis of previous studies,based on the data of the early tombs of Sixth Century B.C.to First Century A.D.in Turpan combing,further discuss the cultural characteristics of Turpan.In this paper,through the analysis of typical artifacts unearthed in Turpan,to discuss the integration and change of various cultures,based on perspective of cultural relations,probes into the ways of cultural communication between Turpan and other regions.In Sixth Century B.C.to First Century A.D.,the Turpan area had become an important hub of Eurasian traffic route,and had played an important role in the cultural exchange between the early prairie culture and the farming pastoral zone of North China and the inland area of the Central Plains.
