The Research On Interaction Between Teachers And Students In English Class From Perspective Of Students

Since the reform and opening-up,more and more countries are eager to cooperate with China and there are more and more opportunities to use English.Therefore it is necessary for the students to learn English and some researchers pay more attention to teacher-student interaction in English teaching.One scholar said:compared with the foreign universities,China's teacher-student interaction is worse.With the international and English teaching situation,we should focus on teacher-student interaction.I have studied the interaction between teachers and students in English class from perspective of students of Yunnan University between Grade 1 and Grade 2 and the relationship with final results and learning interest.We can have a better understanding of the truth and students' thoughts about teacher-student interaction in English class.There are methods of questionnaire and interview.222 students who are English major of Yunnan University between Grade 1 and Grade 2.The 6 interviewers come from Yunnan University.We can draw the following conclusions by interaction between teachers and the students and final results and learning interest correlation research.Interaction between teachers and students enthusiasm has a positive correlation with the final results and learning interest.According to the results of questionnaire,the boys are less interested and active than the girls in English in the limited time of teacher-student interaction.The urban students have more ways to practice English,however,some students don't have the habits of writing something in English.Preview,spoken English level and so on have great impact on interaction between teachers and students enthusiasm,but the opportunities of the students taking part in the English training are limited.According to the results of interview,the teachers are strict with the Grade 2 students and the teacher-student interaction in the class mainly by asking questions.In the end,I has made some recommendations and suggestions from the aspects of students and teachers by the analysis,which may provide some help and be more efficient interaction between teachers and students in English class.Firstly,the teachers ought to improve the boys' initiative.The teachers ought to enrich the content and interact longer in English class.The teachers ought to add incentives.Secondly,the students should set the habits of writing something in English.The students need to pay more attention to preview and adapt to the teaching styles in learning.
