Influence Of Kuncan's Painting Style On My Arts

The author focuses traditional Chinese landscape painting,furtherly explores the art style of landscape painting on the basis of undergraduate studies.With knowledge learnt on classes,plenty of sketches improve painting skill and validate my landscape painting creation.It is considered that landscape painting is supposed to,based on the traditions,learn from nature itself.Finally interpretation of nature gives birth Zen and innovation.With critical relationship between tradition and innovation,learning from the ancient but not restricted to it is an appropriate attitude for landscape painting.Chinese painting is always developing with constant evolution and innovation.With pictures and writings combines with author's own painting,Kuncan's classic paintings were selected as an example for analysis and studies of Chinese traditional landscape painting.This thesis aims at 1)exploring how Kuncan's painting style was formed;2)how the current artists understand and interpreted the Kuncan's painting style;3)influence of his painting style on my Chinese painting,namely his modulation of nature,interpretation and innovation.This passage will also discuss how Kuncan's painting style affecting the author's painting.
