The culture of blessing for peace and fortunes has a long history in China,longevity culture is an important part of it.There is an old saying of “five blessings” in ancient time,namely,blessing,status,longevity,happiness,wealth.There is another saying longevity is the fist in five,it is obvious that longevity culture occupies the important position in Chinese auspicious culture.The worship of longevity god is based on original inhabitants' fear of death and the desire for the life,which has developed into the important part of folk beliefs up till now.In this paper,on the basis of the origin of the god of longevity to analyze and discuss ancestors' view for life,namely,the origin of the worship for longevity god.Mythology is the carrier of Chinese traditional culture,the Shanhaijing as a Chinese ancient encyclopedia,recorded the Ancestor's idea for life in the ancient times.So in this paper,to start with the shanhaijing and to explore The embodiment of worship for longevity god in modern folk life,which is the context to unfold the research of this issue.This article is divided into five parts:The first part(introduction)introduces The reason and significance to choose this topic;Research overview of this topic;The main research contents,research methods and innovation.Research on life of worship of god is not much,There is one degree theses whose research object is the god of shouxing.The second part(chapter one)explores the origin of worship for longevity god from which to dig out its cultural connotation.Taking primitive ancestors' concept of life and death as a starting point,explores the origin of Taoism and the formation process,this is the resource of life of god worship culture,the way of tracing back can get a better understanding of life of god worship of the meaning of people.The third part(chapter 2)is the natural longevity god worship,mainly from the plant life of god worship,animal life of worship god worship,the biological life of god in the three aspects to explore people's natural life of worship of god.In the modern culture,many natural objects are endowed with the symbol of longevity,They have the orogin and connotation to become the life of god.The origin and development of plant life of godCame from its own characteristics,or its medicinal value,or to come from myth;longevity god for animals are figures of real animals or fantasy of people,the reason they are symbols of longevity is because their natural life span and people's imagination for longevity.Abiotic longevity god shows the people's worship to the stars of heaven and earth.The fourth part(chapter 3)is to explore Human being's worship for god of longevity.To worship god of longevity is an indispensable faith for people in the modern social culture.The heavenly queen longevity who in charge of life and death,Old man Of the South pole,Pengzu,Magu represent longevity gods,they constitute a part of the common people's life belief,also an important part of the worship of god.The fifth part(chapter 4)is mainly to explore the influence of worship for longevity god on Chinese traditional culture,this paper is unfold respectively from the folk custom culture,literature and philosophy.Life of worship for longevity god is not only manifested in popular folk life,but also provided material for literature creation,and it also plays an important role in human philosophy.
