A Study On Post-modern Artistic Language In David Sally's Art

David Salle is one of the most representative artists of Western postmodernist painting.His art is very inclusive,which encompasses almost all characteristics of the image information age.Simultaneously,it vividly conveys a visual sense of extravagance,flurry and excessive packing in this era and interaction in the whole society.The artistic language in David Salle's painting is extremely diversified,which almost cover the whole post-modern artistic languages system.The artistic language discussed in this paper mainly stays on the rhetoric language level.Through the depth profiling of the rhetorical language in David Sally's painting,we can not only clearly grasp the development trend of the art of painting,but also see the relationship between artistic language and developing age in a new light.Specially,it also promotes the recognition of the importance of rhetorical language in artistic language and artistic language itself.Above all,through fully understanding of artistic language,especially on the rhetorical language level,Chinese contemporary art could make a big stride forward and the plentiful artistic language will help us more precisely express the state of society today.
