Be Modern In Cities Be Lonely In Modern Times

Zhou Jianing is a novelist with unique artistic personality in Chinese contemporary literature.With her distinctive personal style,self-conscious literary pursuit and acute insight into the reality of the times,she focuses on the modern city and highly describes the life and emotions of modern people living in the modern city.While displaying the highly developed material civilization of the modern city,she deeply reveals the mental predicament of modern loneliness that modern people generally face,which forms her novels' important theme of the lonely thought and the corresponding aesthetic art style.This thesis mainly discusses,expounds and interprets Zhou Jianing's novel creation from the angle of "lonely writing".This paper mainly discusses the lonely writing of Zhou Jianing's novels from three parts: Chapter one mainly discusses the expression and reveals the connotation and characteristics of lonely writing in the context of modernity in Zhou Jianing's novels through the two dimensions of the city and female;Chapter two analyzes the lonely aesthetic features in the artistic form of Zhou Jianing's novels from three aspects: closed narrative structure,cool aesthetic tone and fragmented narrative style;In the third chapter,the author evaluates the lonely writing of Zhou Jianing's novels from two artistic aspects of distinctive psychological discription and realistic humanistic concern,and points out its limitation.
