Research On Ci-poets In Jin Dynasty's Reception Of Su Shi's Theory Of Ci Poetry

Su Shi was not only an important scholar in Song Dynasty,but also had an influence on Jin Dynasty literature.In the creation and development of Jin Ci poetry,Ci-poets in Jin Dynasty like Cai Songnian in prior period,Zhao Bingwen in medium term and Yuan Haowen in the late of Dynasty,inherited Su Shi' theory of Ci with different degrees and angles.This paper is aimed at analyzing the relationship between Su Shi and Jin Ci poetry based on the specific works and the history including literature history in Jin Dynasty,so we can get more references to evaluate and locate Jin Ci poetry.Chapter one reviews on the background and reasons of Ci-poets in Jin Dynasty.“Su Studies To the North” is the background of authors in Jin learning Su,In the process of forming a national culture,people in Jin imitated Northern Song Dynaty in many ways,which included affirming Su's poetry.Ci poetry and prose.Various subjective and objective factors determined that.Not only the outstanding of Su's works themselves,but also Su' s life experience and his philosophy infected the authors who were forced to stay and be an official in the North.In addition,Jin' s rulers praised Yuanyou instead of respecting the new party like Northern Song government to get the legitimacy of governing.Besides,in the midst of continual war,people in Jin paid more attention on the value and aim of life and society.And because of the special geographical position,not like southern literature,northern literature possessed the style of masculinity and vigorous,which were interlinked Su's style and proposition about Ci poetry.Chapter two analyzes the situation of Ci-poets in Jin Dynasty' s acceptance of Su Shi's theory of Ci from the ontological perspective.In terms of ontology,Su Shi had a unique opinion that poetry and Ci poetry had homogeneity.That was the one of Su's biggest contributors to Ci study.Su'snotion offered a lyrical paradigm totally new and exclusively belong to scholar-officials.This idea broke the mould of Ci's form and improved its status in society climate and enhanced its value of appreciation.Ci' s lyricism was emphasized.Ci was treated as a kind of lyric poetry in a different style.When some people in Southern Song Dynasty insisted that they should maintain the peculiarity of Ci,Ci-poets in Jin Dynasty built an aesthetic model,the northern genre style by continuing and deepening Su' s opinion.Even their works and discussion on Ci showed different styles when they followed Su Shi,their basic opinion had barely changed.Chapter three focuses on the specific creation at different times of Jin Dynasty which similar to Su Shi literary.This chapter elaborates on the creation theory in three aspects,namely,the earlier stage,middle period and back-end of Jin Dynasty.Since in the discussions of heterogeneity and homogeneity of poetry and Ci poetry,Su Shi tend to the homogeneity.Su Shi came up with the creation method of “ composing Ci as poetry”,which provided information and operable and practical models to writers in Jin Dynasty.On the other hand,Ci-poets in Jin Dynasty set a high value on Su' s poetic thoughts and most of his works,even tried proactive mirroring frequently.As the result,in structure form,for example,the expansion of realm and subject,the using of poetic annotations and allusions and transformation of ancient poems(including Su' s verses)in Ci creation,Ci-poets in Jin Dynasty regarded Su Shi as the pole persistently.This obedience to“ composing Ci as poetry” lead to a large number of masterpieces of Ci in Jin Dynasty,which was merged with the remarkable Ci works of the Southern Song Dynasty.
