As an important avant-garde writer of the present age,Yu Hua actively absorbs the influence of foreign literature and transforms them creatively, thereupon then forming his own unique narrative style. His latest novel,The Seventh Day,typically embodied this feature still further. With the method of influence research in the comparative literature, this paper intends to take the relationship between The Seventh Day and the influence of foreign literature as a main subject based on full study of current research, and summarizes the creative transformation of The Seventh Day on the influence of foreign literature a step further. The first chapter mainly analyzes the creative transformation on the Genesis in time sequence arrangement of The Seventh Day.The seven chapters of the book corresponds with seven days of the creation of the Bible in the sense of meaning, but writing "extinction" in the form of "creation",conveying a strong degree of realistic criticism by using parody and subversion. And the novel even invented a "dead without burial place" to replace Christianity's "paradise",in order to searching for a spiritual outlet for the impoverished people stuck in a desperate situation, reflecting a deep realistic care and compassion. The second chapter mainly analyzes the creative transformation on Divine Comedy in spatial narrative of The Seventh Day.Similar to the "Three Worlds" in the Divine Comedy, there's also multiple space in The Seventh Day.The plot unfolded around these narrative spaces, that protagonist travels the world after death,is also similar with the travel of Dante. And both of the works have reflected the realistic society by the mouth of the narrator, reaching the goal of criticizing reality and whipping evil. The third chapter mainly analyzes the creative transformation on the"Materialized description" from Alain Robbe-Grillet in The Seventh Day.First, pointing out the influence of creation concept of Robbe-Grillet,then focuses on the analysis of the transforming of "Materialized description" by Yu Hua.From materialized depiction of characters to comparting characters to material,Yu Hua intended to remove the dividing line between human and material, expressing the also real and illusory world in perspective of ghosts and conveying the theme of "All Men Are died Equal".And then further differentiate their differences, although both of them use the writing style of "de-meaning" to show the absurdity of reality, but different from the "patchwork technique" of Robbe-Grillet,Yu Hua chooses and focuses on absurd news events which express a critique of reality. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the creative transformation on Pedro Paramo in the vision of ghost of The Seventh Day.Similarly as the core features of narrative, the ghost vision of The Seventh Day originate directly from the influence of Juan Rulfo, but it's also the inheritance and development of "death narrative" in his previous works and a narrative strategy chosen for approaching to the reality at close quarters. The Seventh Day didn't create a world that a ghost is not divided, like Pedro Paramo, but the distinction between life and death quite explicitly, expressing the writer's distinct intention to criticize reality by death. And this article further points out that these differences originate from different cultures.
