A Practice Report On Simulated C-E Simultaneous Interpreting Of 2017 CCTV Financial Forum Chinese Listed Companies Summit

This paper is a simulated C-E SI practice report based on a sub-forum of "2017 CCTV Financial Forum Chinese Listed Companies Summit".It aims to improve the interpretation level of the author through a simulated SI of a real forum event practice.The theme of the forum is the reform and development of capital markets.This topic belongs to financial category.There are four guests on the scene of event.They focus on the main line of supply-side structural reforms and talk about a series of important issues faced by China's capital market.During the process of SI,the task was radio-recorded.The related materials were saved and organized and the interpreting content was transcribed into text.Through the research of the author's simulated SI performance,many problems occurring in the process are analyzed by the author,including information loss,information misinterpreting and improper pauses.The author also puts forward corresponding solutions and methods,hoping to gain experience for future interpretation work and also providing reference for interpretation lovers.
