Objective:To study the current situation of college students' frustration Tolerance and To explore the effect of Cinema Therapy on the improvement of College Students' frustration tolerance.To provide a new method for college student' mental health work through Cinema Therapy.Methods:This study used the cluster sampling method.A questionnaire survey was issued for the 2016 freshmen of a university in Wuhu city,with a total of 700 questionnaires and 642 questionnaires recovery and effective.The questionnaire consists of five parts: General Situation Questionnaire,CSQ,College Students' Frustration Tolerance,SSRS and 16 PF.Based on the College Students' Frustration Tolerance Questionnaire scores,36 lower scores were collected as the research objects after the principle of informed consent.The random was divided into three groups: experimental group,control group and normal group,each group of 12 objects.The experimental group regularly carried out the "mental and film" activities of Cinema Therapy,the control group regularly carried out the exchange meetings every week,and the normal group did not receive any intervention.After the end of the 8-time group activity,the data collected from three groups of objects by the questionnaire of the college students' frustration tolerance and SSRS.Results:1.the study of 642 college students' frustration tolerance found that freshmen's frustration tolerance is generally not high,the overall score of college freshman's frustration tolerance was 58.65±5.35,including the score of in ternal thought mood factor was 34.08±5.93,the score of external behavior performance factor was 24.57±3.08.2.The difference in the overall score of college freshmen's frustration tolerance and in the score of internal thought mood factor with return students and other university freshmen under was statistically significant(P=0.011,0.032),which showed that college freshmen with background of returning had a total score of 59.19±5.477,significantly higher than other university freshmen with a total score of 58.11±5.175.And the return students who scored 34.56±6.141 on the internal thought mood factor,significantly higher than the score of other college freshman with33.56±5.624.3.The men's and women's college freshmen in the overall score of frustration tolerance differences statistically significant(P=0.040),which showed that the overall score of college freshmen's frustration tolerance was59.18±5.47,which was significantly higher than that of female freshmen was58.30±5.25.4.The difference between the only child family and the multiple-child family on the external behavior performance factor was statistically significant(P=0.021),which showed that the only child of the college freshmen from the only child family showed 24.94±3.031 on the external behavior performance factor,significantly higher than the score of the college freshmen from multiple-child family on the factor with 24.36±3.088.5.The left-behind experience in the score of frustration tolerance and each factor differences had no statistical significance for college freshmen(P=0.958).6.The students from towns and college freshmen from countryside on the score of external behavior performance factor on significant differences(P=0.000),which showed that the score of the college freshmen from towns on theexternal behavior performance factor was 25.07±3.16,significantly higher than that of the the college freshmen from countryside on the factor was24.19±2.95.7.By comparing the correlation between the score of the frustration tolerance and coping style,social support and personality factor,this study found that the college freshmen's frustration tolerance was positively correlated with the solving problem of the coping style(r=0.184),which was negatively correlated with the self-blame,fantasy,retreat and rationalization of the coping styles(r=-0.323,-0.315,-0.186,-0.098).It was positively correlated with the score of social support,the score of subjective support,and the use of support(r=0.107,0.132,0.079).,and stability,bullying,excitability,persistence,boldness,self-discipline showed a positively correlation(r=0.131,0.179,0.135,0.179,0.210,0.156),and sensitivity,vigilance,anxiety,tension showed a negative correlation(r=-0.122,0.092,0.205,0.183).The result of multiple stepwise regression showed that solving the problem andrationalization had positive prediction function to the score of college freshmen's frustration tolerance,self-blame and fantasy had negatively prediction function to the score of college freshmen's frustration tolerance.Solving the problem had positive prediction function to the score of internal thought mood factor,fantasy and self-blame had negatively prediction function to the score of internal thought mood factor.Rationalization and fantasy had positive prediction function to the score of external behavior performance factor,solving the problem had negatively prediction function to the score of external behavior performance factor.Subjective social support had a positive predictive effect on the total score of frustration tolerance and internal thought mood factor.The use of support also had a positive predictive effect on internal thought mood factor.The total score of social support had negatively prediction effect on external behavior performance factor.The boldness had a positive predictive effect onthe total score and internal thought mood factor of the frustration tolerance,the anxiety and sensitivity had negatively prediction effect on the total score and internal thought mood factor.Anxiety,skepticism,fantasy,and tension had a positive predictive effect on external behavior performance factor.9.Before the intervention: the total frustration tolerance score of experimental group were51.33±6.095,the control group was 50.83±5.408,and the normal group was51.25±4.115.And the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.970).The social support score of the experimental group was 36.50±2.276,the control group was 35.92±4.122.The normal group was 33.42±4.562.And the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.122).After intervention: the total frustration tolerance score of experimental group was 55.33±2.015,the control group was 50.75±4.845,the normal group was 51.00±3.790.And the difference was statistically significant(P=0.007).The social support score of the experimental group was 40.50±7.065,the control group was 36.08±3.895.The normal group was 34.08±4.680,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.019).10.The experimental group before and after the intervention was statistically significant difference(P<0.05),the control group and normal group before and after the intervention was no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.College freshmen's frustration tolerance is generally not high,and setbacks mainly come from interpersonal problems,environmental adaptation and learning problems.2.Cinema therapy with using domestic film can effectively improve college students' frustration tolerance.
