Frustration tolerance is a ability that an individual can endure and overcome the adversity. It is affected by many factors. At base of helping students rebuilt cognition, this research would make students experience frustration by themselves, and increase frustration experience and enhance the threshold value of frustration.Design: The control study (the blank control and the self-control), observation study and single blind one were adopted in this research. Results: The average score of frustration tolerant from prior-treatment groups is 54.40±8.90; The average score of frustration tolerant from post-treatment groups is 58.70±10.94; There is a significant difference between prior-treatment and post-treatment, t=3.08, P<0.05. The average score of frustration tolerance from experimental group (<50) before treatment is 44.16±3.68. The average score of frustration tolerance from experimental group (<50) . after treatment is 50.52±6.65. There is a significant difference between prior-treatment and post-treatment, t=3.49, < 0.05. The average score of frustration tolerance from control group (>50) before treatment is 59.53±5.71. The average score of frustration tolerance from control group (>50) after treatment is 62.47±10.53. There is not a significant difference between prior-treatment and post-treatment, t=1 .68, P<0.05.Conclusion: Group therapy, especially psychodrama and other frustration experience therapies can effectively enhance the frustration tolerance of clients.
