| Today’s society has been seeing such a rapid development in medical field.Medical practitioners are facing many challenges caused by the constantly changing economic,political and social circumstances.However,they seldom have a training on leadership.Therefore,it is essential to enhance their leadership to meet those challenges.The translation of Leadership Lessons for Health Care Providers can give a good reference to the leadership practice of medical workers and improve their work efficiency.This report consists of four parts: a description of translation task and process,case analysis and summary of this translation practice.Part One introduces the significance and resource of the selected topic,a brief introduction to the author and this work.Part Two mainly introduces the pre-translation,problems in modification,the revision and finalization of the translation.Part Three is case analysis,the core content of this report.The translator chooses to analyze some typical examples from the perspectives of lexis,sentence and discourse.Part Four summarizes this translation practice,and puts forward suggestions and expectations.Through this translation practice,the translator realizes that translation is not easy,demanding bilingual knowledge and comprehensive competence,etc.Eventually,it’s hoped that this translation can provide a reference for the leadership-related translation and contribute to the development of medical service in China. |
