| High-risk human papillomavirus(HPV)infection has been observed to be the main influencing factor that leads to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)and cervical squamous cell carcinoma.Human papillomavirus is a specific epithelial virus that causes various symptoms such as verruca vulgaris.At present,with the rapid increase of sexually transmitted diseases,HPV infection has attracted extensive attention in clinical medicine.Medical papers not only contain the most advanced achievements in academia,but also promote the widespread communication of medicine.Therefore,the professional translation of medical papers about HPV has great realistic significance.This thesis singles out two medical papers about HPV as the practice subject.With the guidance of Vermeer’s skopos theory,it explores the E-C translation strategies of texts in informative texts.The papers translated here are collected by SCI and what these papers discuss is the advancement of professional project in the world of medicine,which is the significance of E-C translation.It is made up of four chapters.Chapter One is the task description which includes the introduction of the source text,features of the source text,research background and significance.Chapter Two describes the task process,which analyzes preparations before translation,translation process,translation time schedule and quality control.Chapter Three is the case analyses,which demonstrates the translation strategies and methods of informative texts from lexical,syntactic and discourse levels based on Vermeer’s skopos theory.Chapter Four is the practice summary,which sums up the whole process of translation and unsolved problems.By completing this translation task,the translator has a deeper understanding of skopos theory and the application of relevant translation skills.It is hoped that the translation practice from this task has great significance to the future medical translation. |
