The translation material is excerpted from the book titled Constructing Leadership 4.0: Swarm Leadership and the Fourth Industrial Revolution,which aims to define a practical systems-based approach to develop leaders and provide a planned checklist of what organizations need to do to prepare their enterprise for Industry 4.0.With the deepening of economic globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution,the leadership of organizations also needs to change.Through the translation of this book,the writer will introduce the western research on leadership and leadership training methods to Chinese readers in order to provide some new ideas for Chinese organizations.The translation report consists of four parts.The first part describes the translation task,including the source and introduction of this book,the introduction of the author and the significance of this translation.The second part describes the translation process.The third part is a case study,which mainly analyzes some sentences chosen from the original text on the level of vocabulary,syntax and discourse.The fourth part is a summary,including the writer's reflections and experience.Through this translation practice,the writer has realized that translation is by no means easy.A high-quality translation requires not only the writer's solid basic knowledge of Chinese and English,but also the writer's full and thorough understanding of the professional knowledge.In the future translation work,the writer will try to enrich the professional knowledge and improve the bilingual competence so as to become a qualified translator.
