The “Mandarin fever” has swept the world,Chinese-teaching in France has an unprecedented trend of development.Culture is the soil of language germination,and language cannot be separated from culture alone.Vocabulary as the building material of language,and color words as a historical and national nature of a special kind of vocabulary,the importance of self-evident.However,from the current research situation,most of the emphasis is placed on the simple contrast between Chinese and other countries’ color words and cultural connotations,especially for French students of color words and study of the connotation of learning less.The comparison of the cultural connotations of the color words in Chinese and French is mostly confined to the contrast,and the research on specific teaching suggestions and instructional design is very rare.The five colors of Chinese color belong to the basic color words in modern Chinese,Therefore,the cultural connotations of these colors should be taken as the focus of color words learning.The intermediate stage of Chinese learning is an important stage in the expansion of vocabulary.Students in this period already have a certain amount of vocabulary and have an understanding of Chinese culture.On this basis,teaching students a deeper level of cultural content can make students more receptive.This article chooses the Chinese level and the Chinese character grade outline in China’s black,white,red,yellow,blue as the color representative,through "The Comparative research method" to the two languages the basic color words behind the cultural meaning carries on the comparison and the questionnaire.In the form of interviews,students who are native speakers of French and who are at an intermediate level learn about the cultural connotations and color words of Chinese language,and correctly select learning strategies for students’ learning.Training students’ cross-cultural awareness,enhance their own qualities,and mastertechniques in teaching while paying attention to cultural contrasts and teaching suggestions for expanding cultural backgrounds.Finally,a demonstration of relevant instructional design is made in light of the actual selection of parts,and it is hoped to use its own limited ability to help the cultural part of Chinese teaching and cross-cultural communication.
