A language acquisitoncan not be separated from understanding and mastering the cultural background. And in all elements of a national language,vocabulary is the best performance of cultur.With the development of the research of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,the research of teaching vocabulary is increasingly important. We found that a lot of Chinese leaner are very interested in color words in the teaching process because the color words are very vivid and specific.they also have lots of features:color words are in common ues,appreciable,abundant and active--the meaning of a word will change with the development of the times,And it’s very common that giveing color some cultural connotation and advocating or taboo some color in every country of the world,as a historic cultural country,the culture of color can be seen everywhere in China,so the color words and their cultual background are very important thatevery Chinese learner should master them.Training students ability to use vocabulary not only by remember new words but also master cultural content of those words.We will not only raise students’interest of learning Chinese but promote their communicative competence by put cultural teaching into vocabulary teaching.This article try to find how to put cultural teaching into vocabulary teaching base on the teaching research and cultural research of color words.
