The Li Ze Poetry Collection And The View Towards The Tang Poetry Of Lv Zuqian

The Li Ze Poetry Collection is a sylloge collected by Lv Zuqian in the Southern Song Dynasty;the whole book can divide into 35 volumes,from Vol.4 to Vol.15 excerpts the Tang poetry.This dissertation will use the Tang poetry in the Li Ze Poetry Collection as the object of study,to discover the view towards the Tang poetry in the process that Lv Zuqian selects the Tang poetry.Chapter one is about how the time and culture contribute to the forming of Lv's view of the Tang poetry.The neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty prefer to discuss the relations between the literature and the moral,as an eclectic moralist,Lv suggests to pay equal attention to the literature and the moral.Due to the southward drifting,the whole Parnassus tend to return to the Tang poetry,which also provide the condition for the shaping of Lv's view towards the Tang poetry.Thereafter,his learned family and poetic atmosphere,along with so many teachers he absorbed knowledge from,contributed a lot to his aesthetic tendency.Meanwhile,as one of the famous moralists in the Southern Song Dynasty,the neo-Confucianism which weight pragmatism give him a background to form his concept,too.Chapter two is an overview of the Li Ze Poetry Collection.First of all,revealing the stylistic rules and editions of the Li Ze Poetry Collection.Next,dedicatedly presenting the part of the Tang poetry,the object of this study.In the end,although this sylloge generated in the Southern Song Dynasty,just behind going through the southward drifting.However,as the foundation of this stage was strong and deep,after a spell to rally,along with a hightime that the anthology emerged endlessly,which also promotes the emerging of the Li Ze Poetry Collection.In chapter three the view of the Tang poetry in the Li Ze Poetry Collection will be introduced.By analyzing and contrasting the statistics,as well as the categories of these Tang poetries,we can see the preference of the literary style in the anthology of Tang poetry and five-character octave.What's more,it also discloses the fondness for certain type of themes like rewarding and historical poetry.Absorbingly,Lv collects more poets in the mid-late Tang,and concerning the debate among the superiority between Li Bai and Du Fu,he selects way more much Du Fu's poetry than Li Bai's.Besides,the artistic skill is emphasized when choosing the poetry,innovative,well antithetic and memorable one will get more opportunity.Above all,these three parts are how this dissertation study about the view towards the Tang poetry of Lv Zuqian in the Li Ze Poetry Collection.
