Overseas Chinese scholars and professors from Princeton University, based on the aesthetic context of Chinese classical literature, started from the critiques of analytical philosophy "knowledge theory" and "analytical language" dominated by western literary studies in the 20 th century. The aesthetics of lyricism has been deeply analyzed and theoretically explained. On the basis of "emotional experience" and "lyric beauty",the aesthetic theory of "lyrical tradition" has been constructed. In the aesthetic theory level,Yu-kung Kao based on "the aesthetic experience" and "lyric beauty" and based on the methodology of structuralist linguistics,in-depth explanation of the "lyrical tradition" of the theoretical core.In the history of aesthetics,he started with the “lyrical spirit” embodied in the developmental evolution of the painting theories of the pre-Qin music theory, the Han and Wei literary theory, the Sui and Tang dynasties poetry and calligraphy theory, and the painting theories of the Five Dynasties and Song Dynasty. The American Code made a thorough analysis. On the level of literary criticism,Yu-kung Kao focuses on the aesthetics of lyricism in legal poetry. This diachronic and systematic "lyrical tradition" theory has provided a new vision for the criticism and study of Chinese classical literature. The introductory part of this article briefly discusses the domestic and foreign research situation of the whole "lyrical tradition" theory and Yu-kung Kao's "lyrical tradition" domestic research. The main part of the text is based on Yu-kung Kao's theory of "lyrical tradition",and discusses the three aspects of Yu-kung Kao's "sensational tradition" aesthetics framework, the historical evolution of "lyrical beauty" in classical Chinese literature and the criticism of lyrical aesthetics. The first part mainly introduces the theory of Yu-kung Kao's aesthetic theory and discusses Yu-kung Kao's defense of the “knowledge of experience” and the legitimacy of literary criticism under the analytical philosophy background. At the same time,he elaborated on the concepts of "aesthetic sense" and "emotional experience" advanced by Yu-kung Kao.The second part focuses on the content of Yu-kung Kao's “Sentimental Beauty” and analyzes the reasons why Chinese classical art has a “lyrical tradition” orientation. It focuses on the theory of lexicalism in the pre-Qin period, the theory of Han and Wei dynasties, the theory of poetry and calligraphy in the Sui and Tang dynasties, the Five Dynasties and the Song Dynasty. The "lyrical beauty" displayed in the painting theory outlines the time-varying changes in the "lyrical tradition" that classical Chinese literature has demonstrated. The third part, starting with the relationship between Chinese language and poetry and the lyrical aesthetic criticism of legal poetry, expounds Yu-kung Kao's "lyrical tradition" theory of legal poetry criticism and theoretical value, and deeply explores the aesthetic significance of the "lyrical tradition" theory. This article combines Yu-kung Kao's "lyrical tradition" aesthetic theory construction, the connotation of the theory and the theory's criticism practice. It combines the framework of the discussion, the macro perspective and the micro interpretation, and expects to carry out a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of Yu-kung Kao's "lyric tradition" theory.Yu-kung Kao's "lyrical tradition" theory has inherited and developed the theory of Chen Shixiang, the founder of the "lyrical tradition" aesthetics topic, and established his own theoretical framework in aesthetic theory and literary criticism.I think that the study of Yu-kung Kao's "lyrical tradition" theory has great significance for the modernization transformation of contemporary Chinese classical literature research, which helps to grasp the research direction of classical literary theory as a whole and provide more possibilities for classical literary criticism.
