The Spatial Layout And Optimization Strategy Of Public Cultural Facilities In Wuhan

Urban public cultural facilities are the carrier of public cultural services for residents,and its quantity,scale,distribution and service area are important indicators to measure the degree of public cultural construction and social fairness in a city.Due to the improvement of living standards,the people have growing cultural consumption and spiritual needs.In the face of the contradiction between the increasingly diversified cultural needs of the people and the existing problems of the public cultural facilities,the public cultural facilities,as the material entities carrying the cultural products and services,are in urgent need of layout planning and construction.In this paper,relevant researches on the spatial distribution of public cultural facilities at home and abroad are summarized.Based on the theory of space structure and public facilities location theory,ArcGIS and SPSS analysis software are used to analyze the spatial analysis and statistical analysis of 472 public cultural facilities in Wuhan.The spatial distribution characteristics of public cultural facilities in Wuhan are studied from the aspects of distribution pattern,quantity and density,service scope and different types of distribution.The study concluded that:(1)The overall spatial distribution of public cultural facilities in Wuhan is unbalanced,and the regional difference is large,and the number of main urban areas is high,and the number of remote districts is small and scattered.(2)The density of public cultural facilities in the various districts of Wuhan has been remarkable,and the overall "center-periphery" pattern is presented.At the center of the Yangtze river zone at the junction of Jianghan district,Jiangan district and Wuchang district,the kernel density value gradually decreases to the periphery area.and it shows the distribution of zonal contiguous zone in the surrounding area,showing the law of spatial distance attenuation.(3)The service scope of public cultural facilities in Wuhan has increased from the center to the edge.The public cultural facilities in the main city are relatively densely distributed,with small service scope and small service population.There is a relative shortage of public cultural facilities in the far city,while the service scope is large,the service population is large,and the demand for public cultural facilities is not matched with the spatial distribution of public cultural facilities.(4)The spatial distribution of different types of public cultural facilities varies greatly.The distribution of public libraries and cultural centers(stations)in provincial and municipal district is closely linked to administrative divisions.The 24-hour self-service library in the street is mostly distributed in places with large traffic,cultural facilities and convenient transportation.The number of subway self-service libraries is the most,which is consistent with the construction of Wuhan metro in spatial distribution.The museum in the main city has formed an ecological cultural axis along the two sides of the Yarngtze river,forming the core of the museum gathering in the east lake eco-tourism scenic area.The museum in the far city area is located near the district government and along the main road.Based on the analysis of the spatial distribution of public cultural facilities in Wuhan,the paper analyzes the influencing factors of the current situation from six aspects:economy,population density,traffic,urban development and land,geography and policy.Finally,six strategies are proposed to optimize the spatial distribution of public cultural facilities in Wuhan.As follows:Reasonable layout of public cultural facilities,improve the public cultural service network.Actively transforming government functions and improving the level of scientific planning;Priority of public cultural facilities construction land,improve land utilization degree;Effectively integrate public resources and enhance the regional combination;Optimize traffic structure and make full use of urban lake resources;Increase public cultural facility types and integrate multi-cultural requirements.
