In 2001,the eighth curriculum reform across the country,then promulgated《the compulsory education primary school English curriculum standards(2011 edition)》explicitly pointed out that compulsory education stage English course overall goal is to cultivate students’ comprehensive language using ability.The formation of the comprehensive language using ability based on language skills,language knowledge,emotional attitude and cultural awareness,learning strategies and so on the basis of overall development.English learning strategy as an important part of cultivating students’ comprehensive language using ability,the research got the extensive concern of scholars from all over the world,at present about the related research results of Korean students English learning strategy are rare,therefore this research takes all elementary school sixth grade students of Z and J in Yanji as the research object,the integrated use of questionnaires,interviews and classroom observation and other research methods,research on the following three contents for:(1)The survey of the Korean elementary school sixth grade students English learning strategy use present situation and characteristic;(2)To explore the influence Korean elementary school sixth grade students English learning strategy use level of factors;(3)About the Korean primary school English learning strategies of teaching and research work of countermeasures.The results show that:1.The overall level of application of English learning strategies for Korean primary school students is not high,and the use of strategies is general.2.Cognitive strategies and regulatory strategies are the two strategies used by the Korean primary school students,the highest and the lowest.The cognitive strategies are only within the framework of "usually used learning strategies",while the control strategies are in "usually used".Within the framework.3.The English learning strategies of the Korean students are widely used.All the strategies is used by them.4.The lack of teachers’ effective learning strategies for students’ guidance is the main influencing factor in the low level of students’ strategies.Based on the Korean elementary school sixth grade student the investigation of present situation of English learning strategy use and influence factors analysis,the following suggestions for the Korean primary school English teaching:1.Ways to develop strategies:(1)Encourage students to dare to consult and actively solve learning difficulties;(2)Develop students’ awareness of cooperation and mutual help and common progress;(3)Instruct students to formulate plans to clarify English learning goals;(4))To urge students to review science and improve their independent learning ability.2.Ways to develop cognitive strategies:(1)Optimize vocabulary teaching methods according to students’ cognitive laws;(2)Follow student’s physical and mental characteristics,and focus attention on the classroom;(3)Advocate students to listen to thinking and improve classroom teaching effects;(4)Encourage students to expand and perform extra-curricular reading in due course.3.Ways to develop communication strategies:(1)Give students the opportunity to express their interest in English;(2)Encourage students to speak more English and grasp opportunities for English communication;(3)Conduct various types of English activities to improve the use of language skills.4.Ways to develop resource strategies:(1)Use learning tools correctly and develop strategies to use awareness;(2)Focus on observing everyday English,and develop and accumulate more and more;(3)Actively focus on television networks to broaden English learning channels.
