In the era in which Zhuangzi was living,“discussion” is an effective basis for transcendence.On the one hand,the “discussion” as the mainstream form of communication also reflects the characteristics of the scholars of that era who advocated intelligence and debate,which provided Zhuangzi's criticism with a firm fundamental?On the other hand,in a sense,the language itself represents the human realm of existence,and the profound thinking on language has a remarkable finality and transcendence.In the realm of “discussion” as the leading utterance,“discussion of things” is the approach of Zhuangzi to understand Dao.In “discussion of Things”,“The Equality of things” is directly related to the core idea of “Dao”.Zhuang mainly mentioned three types of “the Equality of things”: Huishi's “advocating intelligence”,Shendao's“denying knowledge”,and Zhuangzi's “back-to-things”.Essentially speaking,in addition to using knowledge(a “significant” or “hidden” only),Huishi and Shendao and others all remained at the level of “theory” of “the Equality of Things”.Behind the social discourse of “theory” is the subjectivity of “human”.To achieve the transcendence of “theory” of “the Equality of Things”,it is necessary to surpass the“human” of the subject.Regarding the thinking of “human”,Zhuangzi adopts the reduction method,first liberating human from a civilized society,and then pushing human into the universe and restoring to the original nature of human,one of all the things,and reducing them to “things-things”.Zhuangzi reconstructed Laozi's Daoism through “things-things”.Under the firm holding of “things-things”,Zhuangzi realises the essence of the mystery as “things”;he also reveales the mystery as the fundamental meaning of the Dao through mutual exclusion of knowledge and Daoism.In the operation of the Dao,the mystery becomes the source,and in the flow of its own achievement.In the intellectual expression of Dao,the indescribability of Dao is mutually exclusive on the understanding of Dao's mystery;and if bound by this assumptions,the repulsion of language and Dao is likely to break freedom of speech unconsciously.When Zhuang's article was talking about language and Dao,he opposed the“argument and debate” and did not directly reject the legality of language;if we combine the operation of Dao,we can use the “language” to construct an integrated realm of human and the Tao.“Talking and no Speaking” has not only been an abbreviation for “lifelong speaking,no speech at all”,but it is also antonym “ taciturnity lifelong,already made a speech”,and is the beginning of Zhuangzi's restoration of the“realm of language”.“Talking and no Speaking” is the Break-Out of ideological words.Human is one of the things,and “nothingness of heart”(“forgettingof heart”)is the embodiment of the essence of human mysteries.Humans hold themselves and say “without” mind.Zhuangzi gave three object image metaphors for “Speaking”.They are Gouyin ?Zhiyan and Tianlai,which are different but explained each other.Peripateticism is Zhuangzi's highest level of pursuit.Zhuangzi on the one hand through the construction of “Speaking”,makes human return to the realm of the original speech;on the other hand,he is also trying to use the ideographic power of speech to present the realm of Peripateticism.
