The Application Of Evidence-based Practice In Music Therapy

Evidence-based practice research in the field of music therapy is a new trend in recent years,emphasize a music therapist's clinical practice should integrate the best available research evidence,the music therapist's experience and ability,and the client needs and preferences.There have been some researches on music therapy of evidence-based practice abroad,but no specific instructions and requirements have been given in China.This study attempts to provide a design idea of music therapy evidence-based practice for other music therapists,by designing the operating procedures of specific case.The first step is to set up the basic route of music therapy evidence-based practice,then according to the individual situation of trainee music therapist and two special children with delayed language development,design the specific operating procedures and implement them.The results show that: 1.The established basic path and determined operating procedure of this study is feasible,could help music therapist to complete the clinical practice.2.The best evidence is mainly obtained from the literature of music therapy,and other sources of evidence may be added according to the personal situation of music therapist.3.Evidence-based practice can help music therapist to design a reasonable and individualized treatment plan,but not the best.The plan is not fixed,should be adjusted according to the current state of the treatment object.4.Whether the therapeutic effect of clinical practice is ideal,it is also affected by the status of the treatment object,the attitude of parents and other treatment programs.
